there has to be a level of ethical and morality and dignity and professionalism maintained and protected in respecting the deceased and their families for not only ethical reasons but for legal purposes that is why confidentiality is maintained to a certain degree. im a student in my second year of mortuary science at my college. we embalm real decedents in our labs.

It is a bit annoying, but some of it may be to protect the confidentiality of the people, their dignity, or that of others who may not wish to be shown.
