FDR was NOT president in 29 and the TV was at experimental stages until late 30s - the war halted development and not until the late 40s was TV commercially viable.
Palin wouldn't have said that because her party has wisely put a muzzle on her and she is only allowed to say 'thank you' to photographers. Now she is enjoying the ultimate in disrespect from foreign dignitaries- as when Pakistan's president hit on her yesterday during a photo shoot. Thankfully no one is worried that Biden will become president - it is the admittedly sickly McCain, (United States Naval Academy-Class rank 894 of 899) that is most likely not to make it through a presidency.
