Its amazing how people say "games of the past stay in the past," never do. If you think about it... Even though there are TONS of new games coming out; Its still the old ones that are the "eye openers." :) BTW, love the videos, I subscribed and can't wait to see more.

I got really, really scared when I saw the title and the intro of this, I thought they made a game for the CD-i of "The Batman". If CD-i had been around for THAT long, I would seriously have gotten scared!

This game wont be winning any awards, but just think how MUCH worse it COULD have been? At least they gave you a sweet grapplinghook ^^

Haha, yeah it sure could have been worse I guess. The latest (official) CD-i games that were released were in 1997, still pretty late for sure a failure of a system.

Systems themselves were made even in 2000 I believe, though not my Philips anymore. Some (business) sectors used the technology for quite some time. It was great for making interactive presentations on it.

That's Jazz Jackrabbit for PC. Initially I wanted to also cover old DOS games, and that's one of my favorites. However I had trouble capturing from DOSbox.

Maybe I should give that another try sometime since there are some great games there which are often overlooked.

Jazz Jackrabbit is like a cross between Sonic and Duke Nukem (the original platformers).

I got this game, It just felt like the guys had played the Awesome Adventures of Batman and Robin game on the SNES (the konami one), tried to rip it off, but utterly utterly failed.

I also got the spider-man one (some guy was selling it for £2 on eBay had to ^_^) that's got a really primitive FPS level in it.

You know I think I'll do that Spiderman game too since I have it too. Got a whole bunch of these kind of games off someone for €5. They're good for a laught.

I never played that Batman & Robin game on the SNES by the way. Only that Batman 2 beat 'm up.

Batman's been pretty lucky with good games based on him, there's never really been a "bad" batman game has there? Unlike Superman, the total opposite.

Do you collect the hand-held plug and play things? I've got the Namco and Capcom ones too, but they drive me nuts having the buttons on the wrong side of the joystick, especially for me as I'm left handed,

I don't nessesairly collect them, however if I see a good deal and I can get them for cheap I like to pick them up just for fun.

Most are really bad games though, using old game concepts with some (not always owned) licence. So it's more an opertunity thing and I'm not really hunting them down.

One of my all time favorite Batman games was on the c64 by the way. Not sure what the full name was though, I never saw it on youtube I think, but it was a great game! Only had 5 levels though...
