@st8pl8guy don't rely on the pen alone. Because people can bleach the bills and reprint them. The pen is good for one of the steps but should not be the only step you take to detect counterfeits.

so not worth the money. A Counterfeit Money pen and the good ole naked eye with light works just fine. Cause if they bleach a 5, 1, or a 10, Do;;ar bill to make 20's, 50's, or 100's ur left stuck. Just make sure the face on front and the water mark faces match also there should be a number written in the forhead. And last the band that wraps aronud the bills are different collors for different bills. But these can be removed

REAL BILL = THE BILL WILL NOT BE AFFECTED BY WATER IN ANY WAY..

FAKE BILL = THE BILL WILL BE AFFECTED (the ink mixes with water, and in the end all u see is ink and nothing else.. no print!) BY WATER.. a drop of water on those notes will tell u if its fake or not..

but water won't smudge the better counterfeits a simple old trick print a bill cut it out put some old spice high endurance deodorant on it and it will make the bill not be affected in water

I think I know how it works. It is a UV light and if you use it on a dollar bill (except for $1 and $2 bills) it has a special color.
