How to fix Battlefield 3 crashes after 5 minutes of online play

Hi all! I've got a guide for Crash fix.. But i cannot post it here because of the letter limit..

so just hit me up and ill send it!

I had the same problem .

I disabled win defender and now works fine .

FOr windows 7

Click the “Start Orb” and type in defender into the text box. Select Windows Defender from the items that appear in the window

2.Select Tools from the main Windows Defender screen.

3.Select Options from the Settings section.

4.From the left navigation pane, select Administrator.

5.Now remove the check mark from the box labeled Use this program. Click the Save button in the bottom right corner.

You dont need to purchase 64 bit! I have 32 bit and i can run battlefield 3 fine! I have 4 gb of ram, the maximum 32 bit can use.

@FrozenKing142 I was too but its fixed now for some reason. Dont know how I fixed it, I downloaded it instead of installation by disc, changed sound options, reinstalled battlelog, increased userva thingy mabob, downloaded the latest drivers...

You are Right! After upgrading my video card from a Dell Geforce 9800 GT Sli to a single EVGA Geforce GTX 560, My windows 32 bit cannot handle the required memory, After calling EVGA help line they informed me that 32 bit systems cannot run the required memory at one time no matter what amount of RAM you have. Saving my simoleans to purchase windows 7 64 bit, have already poured enough money into playing this game to turn back now..

hey umm i never had windows 7 and then got bf 3 the it wouldnt start up it crashed so then i installed win 7 and it works but has the same problem as u it stops after like 2 min i cnt even get a kill please help me please

@nznaturopath I actually fixed rage but this bf3 nonsense is realyl bugging me i cant fix this, but they have patched rage now so all u need to do is turn v syncc on then it should be fine mate.

@OGZxK1LL3R its the game problem not your computer. and just wait for EA patchs to fix it. if you dont want to wait. try ask EA for a refune. ( if they give a shit)

Hey man thanks for the advice, i decide to just wipe the computer and put 64bit windows and what do you know, it works and its x10 better than what it was before. Thanks so much Thumbs up from me =)

@mindmyweb Hey, I too put 64 bit win and it works better now! but still crashes after playing 20mins, the game stops and makes this awful noise and i have to boot my computer.. This is progress thou, I could't play it longer than 1 min :D

i have the same problem, my computer is able to run singleplayer fine with no problems, but multiplayer crashes after afew minutes, i have 6gb of ram but it only lets me use 2.75. i have a 32-bit system and i dont know how to upgrade to 64 bit on a seperate partition. can someone help???

right ok seem to have a fix for the ati users 6xxx series cards after hours of trying things and i think its a dx11 bug,right ok go to your amd vision engine control center (little icon in the bottom right ) open it go to gaming (left hand side) click 3d application settings where it says tessellation click the use application settings then apply hope this works for you,i dont know about the nvidia side of stuff but there could be a slimler option in the driver menu let me know if this helps

Overclock it . Also try run as admin when i installed windows 64 bit it installed a new 50 mb patch for the browser
