@whitepoodlepuppy they only give peak caps to senior cadets now (cuo and cwoff). they got rid garrison cap for cadets cos it too much of an oh&s risk (sun).

oh and wat rifel that they using. we get to use the f88 in 7 wing

@FFG150 It would have been great if everyone was armed but the downsides are that many of the cadets were recruits and are not currently trained in Drill and Ceremonial Elective with weapons, and it would be quite a logistical nightmare as well

Green hats? Come on RAAF, give the kids matching hats. They look ridiculous.. At least in my day we had the forage cap and it was blue, like the rest of our uniform....On another note, good job cadets!!!

@whitepoodlepuppy HEAR HEAR! we use the Hat fur felts (aka sloch hat) but id perfer the garrison caps or peaked caps (even though they would be unrealistic)
