  • The video title is incorrect. His name is Smokin not Smoking.

  • The only question i would ask ...is why the guy has to go thorough ten minutes using high sounding language to say what he could have said in a few words and which is actually more important.. If i was him, i would just have summarized it as follows....

The KACC depends on the goodwill and confidence from all the people of kenya in execution of its powers. It is obvious that this confidence has been shattered by my re-appointment and i cannot faithfully execute my job where there is doubt

  • I think is a high time that truth and justice will be applied in african countries.

I cant understand why he says paralysis in his speech.I hope the kenyan president will learn from it.

  • By the way your reappointment met with disapproval from across section of Kenyan society so don't sit there and insinnuate that somewhow pols from some region coluded to pressure your exit. Its was an illegality period. And listening to you trying to exhaust your pond of legal and english vocabulary made me have a dim opinion about your competence and effectiveness. This is not how learned and informed people communicate, little wonder KACC performance is what it is

  • Wanjala,no one doubted you academic qualifications.Kenyans are simply concerned about the President's indifferece to the law while reappoint you, something you,a Professor of Law doesn't seem to have qualms with. Also even as you enumerated the legion of problems Kenya faces and how the gov is doing a good job in mitigating the same, you conveniently ignored to brief us on your achievements while you were at KACC.You even ignored to mention corruption is still a major economic impediment in Kenya

  • good move. what is the point of having a anti-corruption body that is ineffective. cut the bull and get to the point. i am so lost. just say, i fail in my job and i resign. see how easy it easy. you save people time and energy to dig through the bull

  • I'd quit too, with a name like that....Smokin Joe..

  • Smoking is a name?? of all the names out there why did they call him Smoking???

He doesnt look like a smoker at all.

  • as) leaker silly thief...why should you refer to a thief as "his excellency". and are you brighter than all the lawyers who condemn kibaki? go to hell wanjala

  • Kiplangat ...come slowly mister.

Wanjala is entitled to his courtesies and preferences... and yu be civil to him. His is no punk.

Moi too went by his 'excellency' title even when goats of Kiamaiko knew him as a certified buffoon who mismanaged a nation to a totally wreck. Yu wrap it up!

  • i would expect a kikuyu to respond like you have done...so i don't blame you....

  • now yu know...wash ur face next time yu come whinning here

  • Man i wish you all the best and thanks for being loyal to the country. you have made a point.

  • 4 those who care 2 listen 2 the whole speech pls tell us if he said anything about ringera quitting 2.

  • I have never listened to such a long resgnation speach in my entire life. Why does a simple statement like, 'We have an ineffective body. It's high time were were disbanded" seem so difficult to say?

  • I need a dictionary,wakenya kweli walisoma^^

  • We applaud you for resigning in spite of the scorn and sarcasm you have directed towards Kenyans and mp's. However, i tend to agree with you that parliament makes the law and the courts are supposed to interpret the law.Whoever advised the president to use the loophole in the act to reappoint you guys underestimated parliaments ability to be innovative. Parliament knows that the judiciary is emasculated by the executive and any interpretation will favor the executive.

  • Wanjala options were limited...this was the only way to go!

He refuses to acknowledge a salient fact- that they asked for this with his bosses.. they allowed an unpopular parliament seem smarter than it is by allowing the big corruption dons reign...too little too late.
