It's so frustrating when they're trying to come up with lyrics, I want to yell at them "IT'S THE EARTH IS SHAKING UNDER SIEGE" and then they could stop fretting over it.. yknow? xD haha
as a musician myself watching this is so damn inspiring, awesome as im about to head back to the studio to work on my first album, which i am doing independently. They bring so much to the table, & i admire Hanson to the bone. THIS is what music should be about, THIS is what the music industry should be about. Not about getting your clothes off, or songs with lyrics such as blah blah blah blah.... Its easy to get disheartened by this industry, but this reminds me what it should be about <3
@shannonkennedymusic I'm a musician myself as well, and currently working on some stuff. These guys inspire me too in so many ways! Good luck on your studio work :D Best wishes!
aw they are so cute. i'm so glad i can view them objectively now. i was so ridiculously obsessed with them when i was young. now i'm just able to view them like normal human beings and appreciate their quirks and charms as people...not idols. they have all changed, but yet in a lot of ways they are still the same. '97 seems light years behind them...
I'm so glad they re-wrote those verses. Cuz if they'd kept what they're singing in the beginning, I wouldn't have believed the chorus. You can't go from "Waiting for a moment of freedom. I know it might come too late" to finding hope in something. You obviously DON'T have any hope if you're feeling pessimistic about freedom.
It's really interesting to me to see the progression of songs. I have all their albums and I'll admit this one is something special. You can tell they're doing something great here. To see this song in it's early stages...wow
I definitely support this message of hope and inspiration and realizing that there is more than what is visible to us, that Ike, Taylor and Zac have been incorporatig into their songs. I think it's great, and I love how the music and sound of Hanson keeps changing, yet it's all SO GOOD. The guys sound better now than they ever have.
two things: the guitar its own, alone in the beginning was nice. just for an introduction, then you could come with the rest just like you did. and second, "i found hope" does sound like gospel. please don´t go that way! even the way you sing, but it´s nice. you should always be based on your roots, that´s why i like it. sorry about any english mistakes, i´m brazilian
Well if you support Hanson sticking to their roots, then you should realize that the guys have said that some of the first music they sang together was gospel. Not a bad thing to be rooted in, in my opinion.
They always make good record..I mean seriously. Not because I am a fan, but because I appreciate every song I hear.

What did they SEE during the recording of 'the walk' that they didn't SEE in 'underneath.

Ike is slightly bossy lol... It's amazing how well they all actually work together though. Taylor is a very good mediator.

Yeah, it's interesting to see their music progress, but kinda grow with it as a fan, and end up liking almost anything they make.

I feel so bad, I mean I only have their first
cd, (Middle of nowhere). But I promise I will go out n' buy, (Underneath) and maybe their newest cd (The Walk).
