He is still a handsome man, after all these years! What a cool interview! I remember when he was talking with his sister about Laura being grown up. Bells went off in his head as he was dumping sugar into his teacup.

That sister was too affected for my taste. Why didn't Michael tone down her stiffness? She was the only fake character in the entire series, yet it was allowed to go on. Even Pearly Day, the brother on 1 episode, was real. So was her suitor, Harv.

The best thing about this series was, that it didn't look like acting, it was like you were watching this family through a window!!!

Melissa Gilbert says in her autobiography that after the horse scene that Dean is referring to; Michael landon looked at Dean Butler as if to say "WTF is wrong with this kid?" LOL

So many wonderful memories...i really enjoyed the Almanzo and Laura romance in the show...Laura led the way...by that time she had become a young woman...Beautiful and confidant...i love the episode where he was at home with his sister 'Eliza Jane'...fumbling around the house...his feelings for Laura confusing him...a great performance by Dean and Melissa...thanks for sharing.
