I really couldn't listen to that Jim Jones recording. The exorcism was easier for me than hearing those poor babies screaming. Other than that, great video. Thanks for posting.
I'm old enough to remember vacuum tubes warming up when we turned the radio on--their unique smell, the smell of all early electronic machines. To me, it smells like wood glue and particleboard heating up, a strange, memory-laden smell. The radio "warmed up", and gradually began to hum. There was almost nothing that was "instant" in those days. This brought back some really disturbing memories, too--Jonestown, in particular. My mother knew someone who died there.
Hi, I used to hear those stations regularly way back during the cold war era. See "EVP Cocteau" and "Number Stations" on Youtube. (Unfortunately sound gone on first video). They were very eerie and some are still around
- you can still hear them on shortwave frequencies occasionally.
You really should say what YEAR the recording were made. That would make it more amazing. Most people have no idea what year these recording were made.

This is quite impressive. What isn't so impressive is the comically inarticulate narrator. Just a suggestion: It's 'the'. NOT 'da'. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that a) English is not his first language and b) He's just downed a bottle of Nite-quil.
Jones' followers are in heaven. Fortunately, he took the south road. Hot enough for you, Jonesy?

Thanks for posting this, very interesting. I'm gonna look into what this number stations thing is, sounds intriguing.
The exorcism was something, real creepy!
I wish you could have included FDR(?) giving his "Day of Infamy" speech, maybe on another vid?

Jim Jones is such an interesting character. Though he was a coward and what he did was horrific. Great video

Moreschi is pronounced Moresky. The introduction is a little misleading insofar as Moreschi was castrated ostensibly for a medical reason.

And, for you, it's NyQuil. ;)

mado robin is very incredible thanks for sharing vids to the world .
thanks for helping me to hear the music of my idol.
she is incredible 2oth century pre-eminent best singer.
i believe no one can replace her.
maraih and georgia brown are known for their falsetto and whistle while mado robin is known for her full voice and is definitely not a whistle.
she can be heard singing colossal notes without microphone while mariah and georgia must use a mic to be heard .
