  • This should be in the dlc of skyrim seriously...

  • Those images, I feel as if this world was made only for me and i have a sense of freedom this song replaced my soul. I don't know if that makes sense and i dont care. Are they even pictures of Skyrim's game world? Anyway i think this song belongs to someone who fought to free Skyrim from the Empire and they make a pilgrimage to High Hrothgar and look out on the rest of Skyrim

  • this is the main soundtrack to elder scrolls 6 !!!

  • Amazing very impressed by your work! :) My compliments!

  • Is there a compilation of your soundtrack that can be added to Skyrim sound folders? (If that's even possible like it was in Oblivion)

  • this fits right in with the rest of Skyrim's soundtrack. Are you psychic or something, LOL

  • that soundtrack awesome!imagine the start of it with the aurora borealis in skyrim's sky and when the piano starts go south outside of riften where forests have an very autumn atmosphere...!!!

  • Heh, how do I know that this is not a hidden track in the game? (hint: I'm saying just how good your piece is here)

  • That is beautiful!

  • this reminds me of Xmen Origins, when Wolverine is on top of the mountain butt naked hehehehe, i want to do that but with this song playing and i have a smoked turkey leg in my hand... (sign) only in my dreams

  • You really should be hired by Bethesda.. justsayin..

  • As with "Snowing in Skyrim" (my personal favorite, thus far), these scores are pure, musical beauty...powerful, thought-provoking, bringing a stillness to mind and heart. I feel privileged listening to work of this caliber. Keep at it! B.

  • Who can honestly dislike this?

  • Holy crap, this is good enough to be used in the game!

  • ...Wha...who...Jesus, man, you're talented!

  • @LoganLeeCloud

Ha ha true, Have a nice friday \(-^_^-)/

  • Was this done with VST? I'm gonna be buying cubase pretty soon when I've saved up the money and I was looking around for some VST sounds and instruments in preparation. Could you please, please, please let me know where you found the VST? It would really help me out. Thanks :)

  • @Maleficus100 I used a few VSTs-EWQLSO Gold, Hollywood Strings, Symphonic Choirs, Stormdrum 2 and Omnisphere

  • Yeah you must be Jeremy Soule's son, no doubt

  • what's "JDR" in your name stand for?

  • @conqueronline69 My name :D

  • @jdrcomposer do you have a facebook page I could join?

  • @conqueronline69 facebook(dot)com/jonathanjazz

  • @conqueronline69 in french it means ''jeu de rôle'' translation: Role playing game

  • (sniff*) at the end, i couldn't tell if i was soked in tears or jizz :')

  • You sir.....Are awsome!!

  • If their was ever a theme for waiting when skyrim comes out, this is it.

  • There's some prick playing around with your work saying it is Official Skyrim Soundtrack.

Honestly, From the quality of it, i believed it, until i saw this video.

    Awesome work,

    Very, very beautiful.

  • The music you make is just amazing!I probably will download it and change it/or add it to the original sountrack of Skyrim!

  • You should be working for Bethesda, making epic music!

  • I think you should be working with Jeremy Soule...I want to hear your work in the official soundtrack for TES VI

  • Its time for some heroic deeds

  • dude its like halo and elder scrolls mixed ligitness

  • 1:35 was AMAZING to Elder Scrolls. Really impressing!

  • the sound of skyrims beauty far beyond all skies

  • Awesome rendition. Parts of the composition sound like they could be used in a Halo title. But it also sounds like it could be used in the Elder Scrolls, which I'd say is quite an interesting and wonderful attribute considering both are completely different genres. Excellent work!

  • HOLY CRAP!!! DUDE YOU ARE AMAZING! anyways i love this! this would be a perfect song movie spiderman 4 if it ever gets released. like if you agree!

  • @physco118 Thanks so much! I actually just started working on a fan theme for Amazing Spider-man

  • Thats a very nice music

  • Fits great to elder scrolls

  • You should be part of Bethesda team dude. You got it ;)

  • I'm gonna listen to this when I play Skyrim for the first time.

  • @LoganLeeCloud If that were even close to the case, you would be called a heretic for not still having it on your console/PC. Hm... This just doesn't fit with TES in my opinion. Especially not Skyrim, as it sounds a little more asian than rugged northland.

  • @Erduk Seriously? 'Cause this can't get more closer to Jeremy Soule, especially in Skyrim. Haven't you heard any of the music in the official gameplay demos?

  • beautiful, mysterious music

  • This is fan-made? Wow. Amazing.

  • I know it probably isn't but I have to ask because I love it so much.... is this real?

  • love it

  • @TheMartialartsJedi well yeah i put 1000+ hours into at least and i figured i'd give it a last playthrough before skyrim and i did and it was fun but i can go to litterally any gamestop and get it if i wanted abother copy

  • Jeremy Soule is a genius!

  • @testacleez2 thanks for the info.....also i turned my copy of oblivion iin at gamestop to get store credit so i didnt have to pay for gears 3 :( :)

  • Just close your eyes...

  • @TheEpicElite It's been 4 weeks. Can I open them yet?

  • @GeekingForJesus

No not until Skyrim comes out.

  • ^^ i like this but do you know if the main theme for the game would be in it when you play or just the start of it

  • It's pretty hard to describe my feelings on this piece. It's nothing short of absolutely beautiful.

  • i cant believe skyrim sells at the same price as anyother game, its should be worth atleast 100

  • This makes me feel like I'm walking through the Halls of Valhalla.

  • Dude... You nailed it perfectly. Sounds 110% like Soule's work. You should be hired, seriously....

  • I sens alittle bit of halo in the beginning, Dont take wrong. I love your work, just point it out. Keep up the Good work!

  • Im such a huge fan of your work, keep it up, and have you ever though about making your own music? try that, I would really enjoy listening to that :)

  • @testacleez2 who are the grey beards exactly? they were never mentioned in any other elderscrolls games...ive only heard it once when todd howard said something about them at E3

  • @DaSh8789 Greybeards are the ones who live in the Throat of the World. They are masters of using The Voice who have secluded themselves due to the frightening effects their voice can have even when speaking. You will meet these characters in the game and they most likely will teach you various things about Dragon Shouts.Visit the Bethesda forums for more info, or visit either The Imperial Library or the UESP.

  • Beautiful, would love this in the actual game

  • EPIC... however it sounds a bit to haloish in the begining and through some other parts

  • @DaSh8789 I'll give you the Halo sounding, but i would not mind at all if this is the title music or something, perhaps when you meet the Greybeards, sounds kind of awe inspiring, which is what people of that magnitude deserve

  • This sounds real, Ill tell you that. Very Jeremy Soule like.

  • I have a feeling this game will be remembered in history as a mile stone in open world gaming, and the first step into the new generation of gaming. This game will set standards.

  • will this be in the real game?

    it better be.

  • Simply put, beautiful. :')

  • you do some great stuff man ... i'll admit i'm quite partial to Soule, but us composers all have our own brand, you do a great job!

  • 1 guy didn't see the road on a foggy mountain and fell to his death

  • can you tell me what program do you use? please...

  • @DoctoWorld Logic 9 with Hollywood Strings, EWQLSO Gold, Stormdrum 2, Symphonic Choirs and Omnisphere

  • @jdrcomposer I think he's still clueless as to what you just said.

  • @jdrcomposer please could you help me, which program like Logic 9 i can use but for Windows??

  • @Konstantin1818 Cubase is probably the best option.

  • @jdrcomposer, are those usable as VST's?

  • @starwarsguy9 Yup, they come in that format

  • @jdrcomposer, hey! Thanks for the fast response. I'll definitely look into getting some of the plugins you use, I've been wanting to integrate orchestra into my music for a while now, as well as make orchestral music in the first place.

  • I think im going to set sail for skyrim a day early so i can get thier in time! Hope to see you guys at The ports of Skyrim!

  • Looks like Mehrunes Dagon was here and disliked the music cause it was so awesome ... or maybe it was Dagoth Ur ... Jigalag?

  • Simply Beautiful

I Loved every secnd of it

  • Honest question - can we download this or is there a place to buy it? :o

I really thought this was part of the soundtrack for a while there, you did an amazing job. :D

  • Wait, you wrote this!? For a while I literally thought it was from the actual Skyrim game...well done!

  • mate i have been so excited for skyrim to come out!! and now your music just fits to it so well and is making me more excited!!!! LOVE IT!

  • what do you use to compose your music?

  • If the actual soundtrack is even half of what this masterpiece is, i'll be happy. Thank you.

  • 2:13 dragon ball?

  • @DLjoker ????

  • @Leonardus18 2:13 to 2:15 tapion theme watch?v=I13igAcC3bg&feature=related

  • Wow, that's great. Amazing work.

  • You wrote this? Excellent work my man. Truly excellent.

  • This game will make me fail college dammit.

  • Who wouda thouht that somebody could mak a good song about Skyrim

  • Oh man, stare at those clouds all the way up to 1:05

You start to think they move...slowly..

  • I love the combination of the thin line of piano and flute!

  • Jeremy soule should hire you as a co-musician, honestly, you're amazing.

  • I have seen a lot of things in my life that could be seen as arousing, but this is the only thing I can truly masturbate to.

  • Oh, you are a professional Scorecomposer :D

  • This is actually better than the Oblivion soundtrack!

  • every other game is so lame when you just contemplate skyrim

  • @joebland123 totaly agree with you....just dont say that to a hardcore daggerfall or morrowind fan...

  • @joebland123

I know!! Though I remember waiting for Morrowind and Oblivion and thinking the same thing about their predecessors.. each one has generally been somewhat of a giant leap forward in open game worlds, more immersive than the last. I'm hoping in a few more years we'll be looking at the 6th thinking the same thing about that one compared to skyrim!

  • @joebland123

honestly I think The Witcher 2 is on the same level as Skyrim.

  • @TheNineLivez No. (:

  • @kougoes

I doubt youve even played it. Face it, the Elder Scrolls isnt the only good RPG-series out there.

  • @joebland123 skyrim is lame compared to oblivion, oblivion is lame compared to morrowind etc:P

  • @FiFiGiN88 I wouldn't be too sure. I have the hunch Skyrim might break that chain. ;)

  • Yeah ! Your best work on Skyrim I think. And you've listen more than once the atmospheric track of the art video, don't you ? ^^

I love the beginning, the feeling of the hudge orchestral mass behind the choirs. And it's remind me also of Halo, with the sounding of the voices and the harmonies.

The regular beat behind all is also very good, it gives this feeling of walking. However, the second part of the video is less "Skyrim Style", if you know what I mean.

Once again, very good job !

  • Sweet baby Jesus this is going to be in my heart forever, as is the Oblivion music. <3

  • If i just could live inside Elder Scrolls...

  • @Skoomax but then you wouldent be able to hear the music!

  • @Skoomax Man iam totally whit you! Elder scrolls is the ONLY game that I feel that its a second life its where people can really be who they want to be.

  • @Skoomax Seriously!

  • @Skoomax Yeah man, if only we can jump into our games and never come out. Maybe thats what heavens like?

  • @Skoomax Bai.

  • @Skoomax I know right.. I want to live in Tamriel

  • @Skoomax Same thought went through my head :)

  • @Skoomax ...you would probably have been slashed, hacked, stabbed, eaten, burnt to a crisp with a spell, shot in the head with an arrow, or in an other gruesome way just killed.

My point: Be glad you are in the real world, even if games seem better at first sight.

  • @Polacken15 But in games you spawn again and stay away from the mistakes

  • @Skoomax Nope, not in this one. Here you need to load a previous save. With other words, you go back in time a bit and pretend you never did that. Wouldn't be able to do that if you actually lived INSIDE the game, would you? :P

  • @Polacken15 Then i'd just stay in the biggest city and get a job there :d

  • @Skoomax Hehe, funny, isn't it always the big cities that get the toughest pounding? Don't forget what happened to the Imperial City at the end of Oblivion... ;)

  • @Polacken15 True

  • @Skoomax Really the only major destruction caused before Martin went Akatosh was done to the Temple of the One. It was Kvatch that really got screwed.

  • @SenseiMewto12345

lol, if Kvatch got screwed, what happened to Vvardenfell? Vivec disappeared during the trial he held against himself for the murder of Nerevar, JUST so he could annoy Azura, trolling of Tamriel (he's probably in Aetherius, having sex with his hermaphroditic self) and shortly after the Nerevarine buggered off to Akavir.

Morrowind got the worst of the Oblivion crisis. At its peak after Redoran drove back the Daedra, the Ministry of Truth fell and hit Red Mountain. It erupted.

  • @Skoomax ...you'd get mauled by Cliff Racers in seconds :P

  • @Skoomax That's not true. Even if Skyrim is gonna be a great game, The Witcher 2, Red Dead Redemption and Baldur's Gate II are still almost perfect.

  • well i bet these songs are gonna get modded into the game about 13 minute after release

    unbelievably superb work

  • when i heard that piano...ultimate shivers...

  • i think skyrim used a bit of the avatar sound track

  • @sheamcc2 This isn't the official soundtrack, and no.

  • Beautiful! Absolutely amazingly composed--I can easily see this fitting into the realm of skyrim. Your compositions are absolutely amazing! hope they get more views :D

  • trop bien !

je peux plus attendre se jeux j'en pète !!!

    Vivement le 11.11.11 !!!

  • Omg it´s like Skyrim mixed with Halo!! =D

  • @xDemonTech I noticed that too lol :D Maybe he can still use it in Halo 4 if it doesn't make it in Skyrim

  • your pretty good!

  • You should work with Jeremy Soule, both of your styles would combine so well together. I wonder if they are finished composing the music for Skyrim yet?

  • @BNOblivion I'm sure since it's a feature in a game you don't really want to rush, they've probably been working on the soundtrack since the beginning. It takes a while to compose a score for a game, and especially one that so far sounds amazing. And I'm sure that Jeremy Soule is very exited to get back to composing Elder Scrolls Soundtracks, especially since it's been years since the previous one.

  • this is so sick

  • Amazing!!!buantiful!

  • Amazing!!! I get shivers!

  • very impressive, you should be hired!

  • I Want to just pay you

  • Damn dude, where I can download more or buy?

  • I wish i could compose such wonderful atmospheric pieces like you!

  • A video game company should totally hire you.

  • Terrific! Another great track to add to my favorites! :) Good work! I love your Skyrim themed music!
