I dont bealive this EVP but even if it is real it's definatly not a soldier i kno EVP's are whispery but this is very high pitched even tho 15, 16 yr old kids joined both the confederate and union armies I still dont think they would really have a kigh pitched voice, maybe it was a bugler or a drummer boy singing?

@TheITZJimmy I do not know why it is so high-pitched, I do know that it is not a fake. Maybe as you suggested it could be one of the younger soldiers. All evps are not whispery though most are. I am not a fake, I am a grandmother and a retired nurse who does research on the question of life after death. @TheScandalised Yes, this evp is real, I was so very surprised when I found it in my recordings from our visit to Gettysburg. I also know that alot of them were young boys who fought in the Civil War. I haven't captured anything near to this on my other investigations of Gettysburg. We live about an hour and a half from the battlefield and I am planning another trip there. Hopefully, something just as wonderful will show up in the evidence as I have gotten several new pieces of equipment.

You need to go to my channel and see that this video is nothing compared to the things I have captured. you can know a ghost by it's accent.. the way he says "way" is not authentic nor is this the most common civil war era song. I think you have a great ability to project yourself upon the ethers. But I believe it is a person from the south because the voice sings look away to Dixieland rather than look away Dixieland which are the actual words to that song. I get so many evps, I only put the class A's on youtube.  A ten minute recording can take over an hour to listen to and figure out what the voice is saying. As such I totally understand how tired your ears can become after awhile of listening. Paranormal stuff is fun during the investigation but the real work takes place right here at my computer to go through the recordings, video and pictures. I do see the images you have boxed. I didn't see those before. the one I speak of is on the original vid. Pause it and study the left half of the picture approx. 3 1/2" in from the left edge/upper 1/3 of the photo. approx. size of my thumb nail. his face looks slightly green. Anyway, this is a great vid. I enlarged the photo and I was able to see the figure clearly, I had thought originally that what I saw was just the tree leaves and the sun filtering through them. I was amazed when enlarged I found another figure to the left of the first. He has his head down and he looks confederate, he is who I believe was singing Dixie. I looked at pictures of Grant and Mcclellan, I agree it looks like Grant. I was singing Dixie so I can understand why he is glaring at the me. Thank-you

I went back and looked at the original photo.

When I enlarged it I saw the face, though I didn't see the body. It is a man's face and I can't tell whether it is a Union or Confederate soldier. I am amazed, thank-you for seeing what I did not. I am not surprised that he is looking into the camera, it seems spirits like to come close to me and that is why I have so many evps with only a few on Youtube. I am so pleased to have a ghost photo, thank you.

There are several classes of evps, class A can be heard without earphones and can be understood by those listening, class B can be heard with a speaker but is not always understood by everyone, class C is heard using head phones and is difficult to understand.
