actually CoT was there long before TBC was released one of thie patches opened it up, I remember my wife on her druid wondering in there and that was way be BC was released. It was just a huge open place before BC though but very nice graphics for wow.....heh maybe not

first this is a ptr, not his real 60, and yes you can do it but if your caught its a offense, theres also a way to get into hyjal, very easily
