We have tried rather unsuccessfully to have workshops in Brisbane. My old friend, Monte, from Planet Inline, who has a large captive skating audience was surprisingly negative about slalom, hence nothing happens in Brisbane. On the contrary, Melbourne is really motivated and we have good slalom skaters here. Perth is also proactive, hence the workshop there. Sadly, when a touch of negativity is spread into a group that worships Monte, it is a lost cause. Sad for Brisbane.
