  • you should use an octagonal drum, they are much more effective

  • @Slic3R1 Cylinders are equally effective - I should know!

  • I have extremely colored stones but not the materials to polish them! Where can i by the equipment?

  • thank you

  • Vasso that is exactly what is going to happen. In one month the rocks will be better shinned then billions of years of geologic wear....

Have you noticed how dull raw diamonds are? Same thing

  • there was a rock tumbler for $10.99 and it takes only 2days to finish

  • @DisneyRidesDisneyFun $11.99 stone tumbler - buy it and report back - must be a miracle machine;-)

  • If you want a professional High gloss finish you will have to polish a lot more I do the first stage 6 weeks recharging every 6 days, and the whole cycle takes 3 months and a LOT of Paitience, My tumbler runs at 42 RPM

  • did you find those stones at a lake?

  • @CaiqueLover Stones mostly from the beach [the sea's all around UK!] but on gravel paths in the park so almost anywhere;-)

  • i dont think that sludge is supposed to go down the drain. all o fhte vids i have seen distinkly say NOT to.

  • @CaiqueLover Yes - fair point. The sludge goes into the garden [not shown in vid] so stones just rinced/washed under the shower !

  • 7 days non-stop? doesn't the motor burn out?

  • @VirginiaMichelle No - motors and system designed for this and they work.

  • I only watched this because i found a very pretty dalmation coloured polished rock and i learnt alot from this vid about how it was made to be so amazingly shiny! Id like to rocktumble but i dont have the money and my mum wouldnt like the noise :( Your stones are lovely, keep up the good work!

  • @AvianFoster Checkout some other YT vids on stone tumbling - there may be cheaper option and yes - can't be done in the house but ok in the shed away from house!

  • 7 days for each gritt?

  • @satan31337 Yep - 7days each grit - trust me I'm a StoneTumbler - a bit too slow for some hehehehe ;-)

  • @satan31337 just think, your tumbler is doing in about a month what nature takes thousands of years to do!

  • Mate, THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THAT. THANKS!!! Cant wait to finally finish mine!!!
