    LOL Funny, You need to keep doing there they are great! Because we all know that as soon as you get your first 35mm or Digital Camera you are a PRO...

  • This is so typically real though, all around my region we have tons of wannabes. Ahhhh! Please go study, take a class, learn from the master painters who really know light shadow. Find an established (good) photographer and shadow them (Make sure you let him or her know that you are shadowing them.) and practice, practice, practice!!!

    I've been self taught for about four years, and, despite winning/placing top three several state wide photography contests, I still consider myself strictly amateur.

    Sure, I can take better pictures than most people I know, but I pale compared to real professionals.

    And then I have friends pick up their camera, take a snapshot, and think that picture will win in the contests that took me years to place in, much less win. It's all I can do to just bite my tounge. >.>
