You make some good observations! I am a believer, but sadly, most Christians take their brain out and lay in on the table when they read the Bible. They'll just breeze right through in 2-0-1-2, and never pause to think about things like giants, fallen angels, or this person named Enoch. Jude even quotes Enoch's prophecy word for word, but Enoch never prophesied in the Bible. It's in the Book of Enoch! Whether Enoch saw this in a dream or it was a vision is unknown. In Enoch 1 he states that in a "vision" he saw the house of god. His description was something along the lines of it was made of crystal with fire inside of the crystal. My interpretation of this is glass with lights behind it.. Possibly something along the lines of a computer monitor build into the "house the god" which in my opinion was the ship which took him across the earth and thru out the heavens as he describes.

I don't think that when the word "Star" is used as a metaphor for "angel," balls of gas are actually what is meant. Maybe the Black Hole is simply an analogue. But all the same, I think Enoch actually saw this thing--either in the body or out of it--and it serves as an image of what the angels (stars) must face.

I believe that Enoch actually saw this thing. Enoch certainly did purport to have ecstatic visions. Why not just take him at his word, since if it is true, then he really was "Beyond the Great Earth," so to speak, and in a transport of the spirit.

It's better just to say "I don't know" then to presume the existence or non-existence of something metaphysical. I never saw an alien being, but I'm pretty sure they're out there. I never saw a ghost, but I'm pretty sure there is another plane of existence, but actually, I simply just don't know.
