@ltz15 not a so serious answer because i got 15 yrs and idk how to drive, but by my videogames i think this:

he flaps cause by hitting the clutch by the same time as the gass he will lose traction control and the car will "slide" more on the corner.  thats a clutch kick technique XD

@vitorix24 That's the air from the turbo trying to be pushed back through the turbo when the throttle isn't open, usually countered by a blow off valve which makes a nice "woosh" sound. Personally I don't understand why they aren't running one. All I can think of is they want boost available at all possible times.

@50nollieman S15 is the model of the car. It was offered in Japan in two models the Spec S and the Spec R. The spec S was a 5 speed NON-Turbo, it didn't have side skirts or a wing. There were a few other small differences but the engine and gear box was the most noteable. The Spec R was Turbo charged and made 240hp and came with a 6 speed transmission and the the same differential found in the R34 GTR V-Spec.

@shakybones007 Outside of Japan they were sold locally in Australia and New Zealand, NZ got the same models as Japan. Where in Australia special Australian versions were available. Both the Spec S and Spec R were turbod and had the 6 speed transmission Both made the same power.

The biggest difference were the options, the Spec R had a sun roof, 6 disc Cd player, side skirts and a small wing among a few other things.

@blahblop123 only cheap turbos. BOV and BPV weren't made for turbo longevity. sides, he has BOV and the surge is at minimum intake psi (boost) so its barely anything.. just sounds loud.

What I'm wondering is if the noise THIS one in the video being heard, is either compressor surge or if this type of valve off valve on the car is actually designed to make that noise.

I've never heard a blow off valve actually designed make a flutter noise like that, which sounds exactly like compressor surge.

But there is a valve designed to make that "flutter noise", it`s made to release the pressure more loosely, if I can put it like that.

It`s not as tight as a reagular blow-off
