I fucking loved this moment. His heel turn, so slow, so methodical, was amazing and made that one of the best feuds I'd seen in years. Hardy brought nothing to do the table but his real life drug issues, so Punk had to carry him in every single way, but if not for that feud, I don't know how Punk's career would have ended up. He certainly wouldn't be the WWE Champion heading into WrestleMania, that's for sure.
I always found it interesting that the guy who is abiding by the law and living a clean life is the same guy the fans boo. And the guy on drugs is adored by most. I guess it's all in the delivery.
And here it is...2012. Apparently cm punk didn't get his point across lol. Hardys supposed to show at a 'house show' nearby next weekend. Lets see if he actually shows up this time...sober. Last year, he was soo messed up, he couldn't even make it to the ring.

But come on guys how can you defend or excuse the actions of a drug addict. Stop thinking with your heart and use your brain. When have drugs EVER benefited ANYONE? The only things drugs cause is pain, heartbreak, loss, death, and even WARS. It destroys families, friendships, and people's lives. It's not something to cheer for.
And what about drugs that are used for medicinal purposes, they have benefited lots of people, even marijuana has been used for medicinal purposes, now I personally don't take drugs, I don't agree with them but you can't say that all drugs are bad and that they are of no benefit.
@RemiRocks303 Yeah whenever he's in the ring the people are cheering for him because of all the drugs he has done. No one gives a shit about that he is a grown man and can make his own decisions. People just watch to see their guy beat the hell out of other guys.
And let's not forget, his feud with Jeff Hardy that lead to Hardy's leaving had a really good build-up, with a slow heel turn that only Punk knows how to do, and with a premise of the feud that made a lot of sense. Straight Punk versus drug-ridden Hardy.
And it also now seems like a fitting end to Hardy's WWE career, passing it on to someone who would become one of the greatest and most interesting star those guys have had for some time.
Let's see... Anyone who's followed Punk in the indie series knows about his abilities. He's good in the ring, and champion of the mic (whereas Triple H - now that he doesn't have Shawn Michaels to save him - tends to be Triple Z alone with his mic). He's probably done more for WWE's popularity this year than the other stars combined, with one of the best storylines and PPV matches in ages. He mades Cena look good in the ring that night, that's how good he is.

@Silentrzk Bro...Jeff took sleeping pills before the match. He wasn't even purposely trying to get high. He's not an addict. Hardy is clean now and is getting himself together. Like I said before to so many...People make mistakes, some more than others but everyone makes mistakes. Hardy has his history of mistakes but so do you and I. so tbh, get off of hardy's case.

@masenko998 CM Punk as a heel went into Cena's hometown and turned the crowd against Cena. His promos over the last month have been legendary and must see TV. Jeff Hardy has never been MUST see. His ring work is at its best in gimmick matches, and his mic skills are suspect. I'm not trying to take anything from him because everybody knows all the crazy spots he's done, he has a lot of haters because of his stupidity outside the ring.

@masenko998 IDK if he'll be given the chance to be top dog again. He might be seen as a risk. But really, CM Punk's match with Cena ALONE made MITB better than Wrestlemania 27. Punk brought the casual wrestling fan back. Can that be said of any of Jeff's matches? I'm not so certain about that. I hear your opinion, but my opinion is that CM Punk = more PPV buys, and ratings than Jeff Hardy.

But I know if Hardy came back to WWE to be top dog again...AND THE WWE GIVES HIM THAT CHANCE AGAIN, he'd make history. But until then.....it was nice to just converse about the 2. instead of you throwing drugs down my throat when everything people hear aren't the exact truth. I thank you for that.

I will say this, I hope we haven't seen the last of Jeff in the WWE because his BEST work in my opinion was his last program with Punk. I would love to see Jeff with Christian and some of the new guys and he should definitely be in some MITB matches himself. Whatever is good for the biz.
