  • The best and most under rated Mafia movie i have ever seen, What a masterpiece, Garrone rules! :)

  • An underrated masterpiece. Could not have loved it more.

  • watched this on BBC 2 (UK) mind blowing.

  • 3 dislikes weren`t spared !

  • ua ma cre BAGDAD?!?!?!?

  • Excellent movie hard to find on DVD though also my grandfather is from Italy and he said it is very accurate to the way things really are in Naples although he is from Sicily

  • excellent movie hard to find on DVD though also my grandfather is from Italy and I watched it with him and he said it is very accurate to the way things really are in Naples although he is from Sicily

  • Awesome movie!

  • This movie is very good because it shows you that the camorra controls everything in Naples and you must be part of them or else you will never succeed !Iam Italian - American and these are my favorite movies! I also like il capo dei capi a great series about the life of toto riina!

  • this is great !! going to watch this in webmovietube

  • WTF? Martin Scorsese had nout to do with it

  • @Gabzerelli5 haha they wouldnt lie

  • Oh, god...this story is real. :( Heartbreaking in its reality and sorrow and destructiveness. Humanity at its worst, alright, because this documentary shows everything about what it means to truly be in the criminal world of Italy.

The only good news is that someone is actually giving this perspective into the light to make things better. Go Roberto Saviano! \o/ May you live forever in our hearts!

  • @Teruame documentary xD it really looks like one but is not

  • I prefer original trailer to this one. Narration makes it sound like bad ass action gangster movie, which this movie is not. Movie is cold and in your face which makes it great and original.

  • This movie is amazing one of my favorites...

  • Can someone explain why this movie is good? i saw it in theaters and was mostly just bored. I've heard all the "that's what it's really like" stuff and to me that doesn't mean it's a good movie.

  • @cp10111 Well, everyone has a different a different taste... For me, a movie doesn't have to have crazy action sequences and million dollar explosions in order to be good... I like movies with a good story :)

  • @Pentagon1311 Exactly. I like movies with a good story. Immediately you assume that I didn't care for it because of a lack of action sequences. I found the story boring as fuck. so again i ask what's good about the story.

  • @cp10111 It's a realistic movie, because the real mafia isn't like in the Sopranos or Godfather... they'll kill if you mess with them... no matter if you're a cop, a priest, a woman or a kid... Do you know that 75% of the businesses in Naples pay protection money? This movie shows the life under the Camorra... I guess you didn't like it because it was on Italian and was hard to follow or whatever, i don't know... I loved it but like i said earlier, everyone has a different a different taste.

  • @cp10111 This is based on the real story... its not an action movie... aaah.. you american will never understand the situation here..

  • @fkthlf I don't think a single person has actually made a good point as to why it's good. A true story doesn't mean it's a good movie by default. Believe it or not Americans aren't only interested in crazy action movies. I've seen plenty of foreign non-action movies that were great. This movie is just filled with lengthy dialogue that could easily be cut from the film without changing the story... You Italians will never learn how to edit a film. At best this is a 3 of 5 movie.

  • @cp10111 Easy to talk without living here. Btw this is not really a movie.. it tells you how is the situation.. its kinda like a documentary, telling you the story behind apparently normal people. I think, you should read a bit more about mafia (and i mean the real one) and then watch this again. If you dont like it...ok, no problem since you told me americans only likes action movies. But if you do, then you'll know ure a smart person! :)

  • Great movie, completely realistic not the godfather or scarface bullshits, because organized criminality is this and italy is ruled by organized criminality, but i have a question, why there isnt the politic in this movie? Politic power is completely owned or is allied with organized criminality in italy, also at the higest levels, but this don't appers in the movie, idk why. And another thing is that there arent movies or books that analize the historical reasons of this situation in italy.

  • @gaporion

We have no politics in Gommorra just because...doesn't work in that way here. 'U can put the politics just in documentary, like the new Draquila, but in a movie is too difficult. However Gomorra is really realistic and most of the actors are just people who live in Scampia (the quarter seen in the movie) and the situations are even worse. Shit, "Le Vele" buildings of Scampia are at the same level as the brasilian Favelas. Southern Italy is a living hell.

  • @friend5001 Hey what you said about the politic in the documentary but.... riguardo a scampia e le vele ma che cazzo stai a dì? come le favelas, ma daje su... :-)

  • @gaporion il bello è che lo dicono come un vanto

  • the book helps to understand the film. without reading the book there is no way to truly understand what the film is about. the book will change the way you look at the world. how your d&g suit was probably made in hell itself and that you'll never really know if it's real or a real-fake or is there such as thing as a fake at all. unlike most mob films this true life. more real than we would ever want it to be. it's not even a third world country.

  • what is this tony montan shit is this a joke or the real film??

  • @indomitablefacts as real as it gets man. probably one of the best crime films ever made. not even joking. you should see it if you have not already...

  • in-character jokes in a movie referencing another movie.

  • @indomitablefacts reel movie

  • @indomitablefacts

Are 'u really saying that 'u don't known Tony Montana? Is the character played by a great Al Pacino in Scarfare, holy shit! Have 'u lived on the Moon in the last 30 years? Watch it, now!

  • 2:17 The word "official" is spelled wrong. Very unprofessional. Don't they proof read these things?

  • hey seasontheman, when the finger indicates the moon who is that watch at the finger?

  • What? Are you trying to use the saying, "don't confuse the pointing finger with the moon"?... I'm not understanding you. How is that relevant?

Gomorrah is an amazing movie. The people who make trailers have nothing to do with the film itself.

I'm just sayin'... The people who made this trailer made a HUGE mistake. I can't believe no one would notice that. I find it helps to actually read the things you write.

    Very unprofessional.

  • this is movie is perfect because it deals with real life not as hollywood movie, but like a documentary.

  • I watched this movie three times, it hurt me every time like a bullet.

    Stunning.

  • i want to watch this, i cant find it anywhere can somebody send me the link

  • it is like you said, perfect.

  • is this move good? sees very very very good. relalistic made not the Hollywood shit. anyone?
