@RaYk1LL3r I think the 8600GT is too much, I played Bioshoc, CoD4, DMC4, FEAR2 on full graphics when I had one, and also ran Crysis and Far Cry 2 in lower quality. Point is that some technologies (software) are also better now, and can fake more impressive effects and lightning with lower demand on hardware. But the game is still limited by RAM memory in amount of details and size of the maps.
