first of all... xxxHolic is Seinen so its not for children and 2nd the ending wus great -.- and if u read both tsubasa and xxxholic even without reaching the last chapters they talked about how everything is cause Clow stopped Yuukos time so at that moment one could know that sooner or later she wus gonna die. There were many instances where the two series crossover in the manga, but the anime seems to have cut those crossovers out in HoLiC. They're still there in Tsubasa, from what I've seen.

I remember i thought over and over that story of Watanuki when he walked to some street intersection and a spectrum of a man with a hat, suit passed for 3 times.

Holic is CLAMP and refers back to their other work, but it's also unique. It started out as a critique of obsessive behavior, then detoured into Japan's bountiful ghost and spirit literature. Angel-san, the red hydrangaea, and the hundred ghost story date are my favorites.

how does the manga and the anime compare? ive watched xxxHolic 1 and 2, i know the tsubasa chronicles series cuts off abruptly, and i know clamp manga tends to get made into anime long before they are done (in part because clamp isnt too good at ENDING manga...*points to X* but DAMN if they cant make some bitchen stories.)
