I am a christian and a firm believer in God. I just got a problem with people putting down other religions as if theirs is the one that will get you into heaven. I've study different religions and they are pretty much the same. Alot of christian tend to think that if you are not a christian then you automatically going to hell and I just don't believe that. If we did what Jesus said to do, the two most important commandments was to love God, and to do unto others, love as we would love ourselves. We regret to do these things because we're still selfish, scared, greedy, or whatever you want to label it. There are others starving to death, dying in wars, we have brothers and sisters in need and yet we don't do unto them as we would ourselves, all we do is make excuses. Even me. Even tho the truth was always there it gets lost in translation.
Very true. Yet He also said that if we love Him we would keep His words and obey them. So, "love" is not an emotion (primarily). Love is the presence of God, who only abides in those who have been born again through faith in Jesus.
If you love him and obey him and keep his words then you'd do all these things. Saying you love him is not loving him, and that is what I got from what you said. If we love him, we'd act like it, and we're not, we're just saying we love him. If you love him, you'd love others as you love yourself, you'd sacrifice for others as you would yourself, and that is real love, and action, not just empty words. That's why you can't fool anyone but yourself.
And yet if one doess all that one feels one should do in "love", but doesn't receive the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, one will still be found lacking in the day of judgment.
About possession, and it's funny that we call our things possessions. These things have a hold on us. Scripture is of no private interpretation. It is not up to you, me, or any other to figure out what it means to us, but to find out what God meant and what it means to Him.
What you are saying is not right. Not because it contradicts what "I" believe, but because it contradicts what God says.
But how do U know what God was saying. I get something totally different then U. How do U, truely, know that U are right with Ur interpretation of what God was saying? To me it's still ur interpretation against mine, or one group of people's against anothers. Did God come down to U & say these things from his own lips? Otherwise how do U know what ur saying is truth? Did U get it from scripture alone? We all know those books have been falsified & subjugated to interpretation by human beings.
What I'm saying is how do you "know"? I knew God before I was five and I didn't go to church. I could speak with him and him to me and I knew this was true. Which is why I believe what i believe. How DID he reveal himself to you? Did you see him personally? If so, how do you know?
If someone comes to me and speaks about a person close to me I can weigh what I know of that person against what I heard but that does not mean their view of that person is not accurate just because they get a different picture than I do. It's subjective. Someone else might see only my actions and interpret them to be unfair others just.. it's all subjective.
No, it isn't all subjective. There are objective truths about God just as there are with any other person. I am not speaking of people's impressions about others, but about the essence of who people are.
To be fair, it's not just entertainment that is possessed. We all are possessed if you think about how far we really go to do what we want in life. There are people starving to death & all we do is think of ourselves.. It takes a lot to be able to let it all go so most of us are the fallen ones.. it's easy to point someone else out, but look at who is pointing and you'll find the same faults. I'm not rich & famous but I let my emotions get the best of me just the same, & for that I apologize.

Besides there are things added to the bible through those in power and through translation that are not the whole truth, there are a lot of half truths. The name Jesus isn't a real translation of his true name. What Jesus actually translates into is "Hail Zues". Think about all the things that went into that. Think about Christmas and Halloween. Christmas is not Jesus' birthday yet we celebrate it just the same. It was a pagan holiday literally you can trace it back to "Saturnalia".
"Saturnalia" can literally mean a celebration unto the God of Saturn which is another latin translation for Satan. What that means.. I don't know.. but it's the winter solstice around Christmas time, and the shortest days with the longest nights are around this time. It's a celebration of the darkness.
I somewhat agree, I don't think Christ wants you to submit to anything, it's more like it's a way of life. It's unlocking the things inside of you and freeing yourself. That's the chirst's way, not necessarily worshipping Jesus more like learning from his life on how to become like him too. He said he was the least of what we can be and I believe it.

Yet, one cannot be reconciled to God while inhabited by demons at any level. Such is my goal in posting these videos, getting people to the only one who can deliver: Jesus Christ. @MissSaharaja All demon possession is serious because one is indwelled and influenced/controlled by unclean spirits. Everyone who is possessed is a servant to demons; one cannot serve two masters. Further, the more one is possessed, the more one will be exalted by and loved by the world. They gain the whole world (with all its accolades), but lose their soul.

Wow, what an eye opener this series has been for me. Although i have never listened to beyonce or other such mainstream artist of various genres and am more fond of christian hardcore / metal, this series really has been a good watch for me and consequently i am walking away with a better understanding of spiritual warfare, and what the devil is capable of.

Jesus Christ is the one who has overcome the world. It doesn't make the chaos of the world better, but removes the chaos of the world from your soul. God is not trying to save this world as it will be destroyed and replaced with a new Heaven and earth.
You may follow "a Jesus", but it is not the Jesus Christ of the Bible. The end result will still be damnation. You must repent and turn in submission to Jesus as there is no other name by which man must be saved.

I am a christian and a firm believer in God. I just got a problem with people putting down other religions as if theirs is the one that will get you into heaven. I've study different religions and they are pretty much the same. Alot of christian tend to think that if you are not a christian then you automatically going to hell and I just don't believe that. We are all born in different cultures and have different religions that are pretty much the same.

My only argument to this is, is it really a "demonic" possesion or just another side of her? I am a Christian Hip Hop artist and pastors daughter raised in the church, and while I believe alter egos are demonic, I believe performers can zone out and tap into another side of their personality. When I'm rapping, there's a lot that changes about me, as soon as I give it over to God and I'm in my zone, my voice changes. I never knew it happened until a friend who saw me perform told me.

If you give all you have to receive it is not for love, this is true, again it is an empty action, because you are giving for the purpose of getting something in return, but if you give to truly give, and sacrifice for the service of others from love then you are a truely whole, and that's what I'm saying. I have love in me, to the fullest, but I am not doing unto others, completely, as I would unto myself and so I know there are things that I must fix within myself before I am whole

If we did what Jesus said to do, the two most important commandments was to love God, and to do unto others, love as we would love ourselves. We regret to do these things because we're still selfish, scared, greedy, or whatever you want to label it. Very true. Yet He also said that if we love Him we would keep His words and obey them. So, "love" is not an emotion (primarily). Love is the presence of God, who only abides in those who have been born again through faith in Jesus.

If you love him and obey him and keep his words then you'd do all these things. Saying you love him is not loving him, and that is what I got from what you said. If we love him, we'd act like it, and we're not, we're just saying we love him. If you love him, you'd love others as you love yourself, you'd sacrifice for others as you would yourself, and that is real love, and action, not just empty words. That's why you can't fool anyone but yourself.

Think about it, this is a quote from Matthew 19:21 " If U want to be perfect, go, sell ur possessions & give to the poor, & U will have treasure in heaven. Then come follow me'. Worldly trappings ARE an illusion for it is all temporary. However, so is a false belief that one only needs to be "christ" in order to be reconciled to God. The new age christ will never give what the Savior of the world Jesus Christ can, which is a new birth in the spirit to be transformed into the image of God.

I hear what U saying, & I disagree, just with some things. I got a different interpretation from the bible & I don't think U have the authority to tell me which is right or wrong simply because U R in the same boat that I'm in. I feel like the only true way to know Jesus & be his disciple is to follow him, not by simply saying it, but by doing it. It's a cop out to ME if I'm not willing to let go of these things completely. It almost feels like I'm justifying going only half way.

However, the danger comes in because just what if I am telling you the Truth? Not MY truth, but the Truth of God? Then rejecting what I am saying will have far-reaching implications.

God speaks through his people yes, but it is filtered, obviously since people can not agree. I believe that God speaks to me, I have always believed it, I can't remember a time when I didn't, though it was a lot stronger when I was younger. I could hear it though it wasn't a sound. I believe it with all my heart that because I am seeking truths with love in my heart for all of us who have fallen that I will find it. It's emotions that get the best of us and I want to find humbleness.

Also, giving up what you consider to be worldly without first submitting in obedience to Jesus Christ is just as work; and works don't save. If it were possible for man to redeem himself from the world, Jesus never would have been necessary.
God had already given us His commands before to Israel. The purpose of the law was to show man that he in fact cannot address sin on his own and that he needs to be born again.
Works without Jesus will simply result in Him saying, "I never knew you."

"Knowing" God in that context represents having been made one with Him through rebirth. The Bible often speaks of a man "knowing" his wife, and that is the context of that Scripture.
So, no. Jesus doesn't "know" everyone and those who have not been made one with Him will perish.
Man is without excuse. He is the only way to the Father.

The only thing that matters is what God says.
There are lots of voices one can hear in life: voices from man, voices from unclean spirits, voices from God. The only way one can decipher God's voice from others is to "know" Him.
Don't seek to know "what" I know, but "who" I know. Search the Scriptures for the speak of Him. He will answer your questions.

I came to know God because I doubted His existence and challenged Him to reveal Himself to me if He was real. He did. He then instructed me to go buy a Bible and He began to reveal to me what Scripture meant.

You cannot decipher the Scriptures. It is a revelatory book whose meaning must be revealed.

Mother Theresa was demonized and asked to have her demons cast out via exorcism before she died. At the end of her life wondered if there even was a God.
A life of good works and living amongst the poor depriving her life of material things meant NOTHING. One can do all of the works they like trying to "be like" Jesus, but unless one is born again, it is all in vain.

Yes, Remember in the bible when the stranger came upon Jesus and asked him how he, too, could have eternal life? And Jesus said he knew what to do, follow the ten commandments, and the man said he had been since birth. Jesus told him there was one thing he had yet to do and that was give up everything to the poor and then walk with him. The man regretted to do this because he was a wealthy man. That's why it's necessary for Jesus to come because people didn't understand the commandments.

Not once did the rich man bother to help the beggar.. What I'm getting at is. God does love his children. And just like Satan (I feel) He was given a choice, just like we humans have today. People choose thier destiny.. God is a loving God, but point blank- WE HAVE CHOICES, EITHER YOU LIVE OR BE IN HELL.

The difference is that you speak from a position of "what you believe". I am speaking from a position of "who I know."
If someone speaks about a person close to you, you will weigh their words against your knowledge of that person.
I have not always known my Father, but once He revealed Himself to me, now I do; and no other person's words will I follow.
I am not speaking of someone I read about, or believe in, but one whom I know. Each person can likewise know Him through faith in Jesus.

If someone comes to me and speaks about a person close to me I can weigh what I know of that person against what I heard but that does not mean their view of that person is not accurate just because they get a different picture than I do. It's subjective. Someone else might see only my actions and interpret them to be unfair others just.. it's all subjective.

To be fair, it's not just entertainment that is possessed. We all are possessed if you think about how far we really go to do what we want in life. There are people starving to death & all we do is think of ourselves.. It takes a lot to be able to let it all go so most of us are the fallen ones.. it's easy to point someone else out, but look at who is pointing and you'll find the same faults. Besides there are things added to the bible through those in power and through translation that are not the whole truth, there are a lot of half truths. The name Jesus isn't a real translation of his true name. What Jesus actually translates into is "Hail Zues". Think about all the things that went into that. Think about Christmas and Halloween. Christmas is not Jesus' birthday yet we celebrate it just the same. It was a pagan holiday literally you can trace it back to "Saturnalia".

Jesus' name did not come from Zeus and is not associated with such. Look up its etymology.

"Saturnalia" can literally mean a celebration unto the God of Saturn which is another latin translation for Satan. What that means.. I don't know.. but it's the winter solstice around Christmas time, and the shortest days with the longest nights are around this time. It's a celebration of the darkness.

That's the chirst's way, not necessarily worshipping Jesus more like learning from his life on how to become like him too. He said he was the least of what we can be and I believe it.
