this sucks, i know she was supposed to me drunk but she seriously ruined the song 100% its not funny

lool!!! I had this part.. well understudy... but we had an understudy performance and i got soooooo many compliments on this scene!!! This is my favorite scene out of the whole play that and the first time sky comes into the mission and then they sig i'll know! Oh, I love this musical so much!

I liked her overly drunk approach.. a lot of times that intention gets lost in a role that's otherwise extremely choral sounding. that being said, it is a bit nasally.

this is really dramatic. She acts not just a bit tipsy, but really drunk. Plus, our middle school is doing this, and this is a bit too much for us

She's a really good singer actually if you see when she sings I'll know...but I loved it =) I mean she's only supposed to be tipsy but the audience doesnt know that so let the good times roll =D

... she's a great drunk actor, but her voice is extremely nasally and when she slurred her words her throat should be open not close.

hahaha wow. I actually like it. She does a really great job being drunk. Altho at some points it seems almost hyper.

But i like how she did it, compared to singing it like she were sober, and everything being perfectly on key, because I can actually tell shes drunk in the scene(most of the times you cant tell, because they don't sound slurry or anything)

People are probably going to ridicule me for this, but that was horrid. Like I understand you're supposed to be drunk, but that doesn't mean that you can't sing notes on key when you're supposed to! If i see a vid of her singing something and she's good then it's a difft story, but until then, terrible.

I think this was a wonderful representation of Sarah being drunk-in the play sarah is supposed to be completely out of her element, being what she isn't normally...i think you did beautifully even if you were out of breath. here at my college we just performed this and the girl that played our sarah had gotten carried off fireman style and had the wind knocked out of her one night for her to sing this song, but she performed it out of breath too and it seemed more beleivable that-way. So kudos!

no i havent. but youre not suppose to do it that way. shes messing it up. thats what my choir instructor told me. i dont think you'll kiss anyone if any at the cheek but if u do remember its just acting...i dont think they do this play fo ten year olds 0_o

Anyway, I had to sing a lot of the songs from the musical for auditions and this song being one of them. I researched the song and stumbled upon this video and she can't sing worth a crap. I know people are saying she was supposed to be drunk in this...variation of the musical, but the one at my school wasn't supposed to be that way. So this video was of no help whatsoever. Later.

Anyway, on a brighter side, this girl has one of the best drunk impressions for a high school rendition of GaD on youtube. :)
