I remember his first show on the BBC in 1979 and have looked out for his work on the telly ever since , I would love to see it on TV and or buy it on DVD and me to your list who want to see it !
I'd love a copy. Went to the yard earlier this year with a club i'm involved with. Went bury market yesterday and just had to drive past again on the way home!
It would be nice to see this released. Some colleagues of mine from Sweden are over in Yorkshire working and asked about him as they had seen video over there
Explained he was a Lancastrian from over the hills but saddly no more
I remember his first Tv debuts in the 70s even got to see him take a chimney down in the early 90s at at the old co op dairy in leicester
Just been reading the reply's to this video and after watching this too i'm left wondering if any of you have ever gone to Bolton although Fred has passed on have you ever given a thought to Alf his friend who went round Britain with Fred,i was speaking to Alf in depth about his life and Fred's also and doing a photographic shoot with him at Bolton Steam Museum .
@4468 Thanks for showing an interest. We are still putting the finishing touches on the episodes and the first screening of the 1st two episodes is tomorrow. In short, we haven't thought that far ahead yet. We are hoping to get full houses for the showings to use as proof that there is a potentially large television audience for our material. We hope to release the series on dvd in the future.
Please can everyone click 'like' on the newer upload of this trailer by EXCALIBURprdctns to help us get a television broadcast deal?
Many thanks
