I used to train using a HRate monitor but, in order to keep into the right intensity, i had to change my pace constantly.
I read that it is better to maintain a given pace...

I bought one for running the other day and went flat out in a race, but then used it for cycling yesterday and tried to stay between 120-140 to burn fat. It seemed ok to stay at the same pace, over undulating ground and with wind resistance.
