Elvis had another recording session scheduled for sometime in late 1977 or early 1978. Four new and unheard songs had already been accepted for the session. Two of the four were written by Paul Evans. The other two were written by Jody Reynolds (Endless Sleep). Unfortunately, Paul and Jody never said what the titles of those four songs were, but with new songs as opposed to covers, it seemed like 1978 was going to be a big year for Elvis. Pity it never had the chance to take place.
