Lotte is a Japanese candy company ... they're huge sponsors of figure skating in Japan.

I missed Daisuke at Worlds this year ... there's no doubt in my mind he'd have beat that douchebag Evan. (And I'm an American!)

HAH! agreeed! He's had so many amazing performances, it's a shame he never seems to deliver it when it counts :( He deserves to be a World champion by now! Do you know if he's coming back next season?

he is, he was recuperating from his surgery during 08-09 and hes supposed to be back for 09-10...cant wait

i hope he will be able to reconquer his former glory

Oh this performance made me cry when I watched it on TV. :') I watch a lot of ice skating competitions, but I've never seen someone exude so much emotion within their performance. Oh dear. Maybe I'm just an emotional person in general, but this performance was so magnificent...I couldn't stop. And then at the end, when the audience gave him a standing ovation, it made me so happy. (: Wow. I'm a sap, but that's how I felt when I watched this.

phantom of the operah is so over rated!! why skate to something that everone has heard billions of times. why not skate to something that makes you unique? all skaters are different... so why skate to the same music?

I just love the way that Daisuke moves-with so much flow, power, and magnificene in this wonderful Phantom of the Opera program. And his footwoork! Yikes! I hope that Daisuke can continue to bring out such high quality programs (not let his nerves get to him so much) for the days to come (it's in him I know for sure)!
