there are 32 chars ( got all already^^ ) and of course u can play as itachi and kisame too. there are also some fun chars like taijutsu naruto ( kinda lee-style naruto lol ) or anbu-kakashi but imo they left out sasuke a little. e.g. there is 9tailed naruto as a special char but no cursed sasuke -.-

and it's annoying that theres no cursed seal 2 sasuke or naruto 1 tail kyuubi but all in all the games pretty fun. they changed the fighting style a little ( compared to un1) its much faster and flowing now
