Also, i'm not sure if this is actually Calexico either. Thier music is pretty much all latin inspired. Southwestern if i'm correct, and none of their music is jazz sounging at all
By far the the best, if not one of the best Bebop AMVs out there, so many people out there put shitty songs to this great anime and completely ruin it. It captures the feel of bebop without trying to impose some random song the AMV creator is personally attached to. Great job
hahaha o gordão se fodeu por que atirou no gatinho hahaha e no final ele não passava de um bebezão que nunca conhecera a dor hahaha esse anime é um clássico!
I LOVE both Cowboy Bebop & Calexico!! This song is more acid-jazzy than their usual Southwestern/Mexican rock/country style, and that's great! I always thought thier songs would work well in a CB soundtrack. That, and anything from Beck's "Odelay" :) And this video is so well put together! I love how you focused on one episode & used clips the synced well with the feel of the music, especially parts with certain movements, shock, and explosions. Anyway, GREAT work. Hope you make more!
Does anyone know specifically what kind of jazz this is? acid jazz has a more funk and hip hop influence thrown in (from what ive heard and read) and bebop also sounds slightly different. I would greatly appreciate it if someone helped me understand this great music better
UFO (united future organization), Quasimode, Indigo Jam Unit, Nostalgia 77 Octet, Five Corners Quintet, The Dining Rooms, Jaz'presso...many good bands out there old and nu. Japanese acid jazz though rules on these sounds! Also the new Jazzanova cd on Blue Note records and a new greek band called Jazznovation (available on rapidshare across google) might do the trick
That is a damn great song actually, does it come from and particular Album or artist Diogo? I would be very pleased to get it on record. Nice video too by the way, very appropriate choice
Espectacular, Cowboy and Jazz!!

It may not be similar to this, but it`s very... Bebop-like - Snowboy (which I could`nt find on utube) and Mother Earth. Acid Jazz i belive.
