that intercooler does alot of good right over the exhaust manifold most people put them behind the grille lol

@fordboy111591 I doubt any heat would be transferred to the inter cooler from the exhaust while the car was in motion, I mean he's obviously got a hood scoop for it, and maybe at idle holding still it would transfer heat, but even then the cooling fan would be blowing the air towards the firewall and keep it from raising directly into the inter cooler.

@DunKrS Your correct,the intercooler worked good where it was at. I have just recently moved it to the front and added a bigger one. Vids to follow.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a short runner intake manifold be better for a turbo application?

i believe they dont make any shorter intakes because the headers are right next to it i might be wrong but i oculdnt find any smaller intakes i got a stock 82 dodge van with a slant that ima put a small turbo on it haha nice vid man

could you tell me how you did your exhaust setup i have dual headers and im wondering if i have to hack them up

and what size turbo are you running i just got a garret 50mm turbo

I have a 6 into 1 setup. I hacked up a used set of headers to get this. Turbo is a Garret T4 70mm. Spools up real nice.

Love it love it love it!!!! ok probly more time and effort than ill ever put in to my rigs in my entire life ok. BUt one thing we need to talk about the copper primary color ok just not right with the car man it nice looks ok but ya the lower bady color looks good but that copper i don't know man.

Yes, I hooked up the secondaries the other day. It ran the best of 11.48 @ 116.92 w/ primaries only but the track is closed for the winter so in the spring we'll see how the secondaries work. Later
