Sometimes being flat and sharp sounds awful, almost ear-bleed worthy when it's in the wrong place. She's obviously not meaning to be flat and if she is, she needs lessons on making better melodies. :)

Good lord, she is not off key for just one second. That's not because she's a really god singer(although she is) but because this is edited. Everything she sang there at the Roxy Theatre was slightly edited before it was aired on TV (to make it sound not jsut good, but perfect).

Even Celine Dion made mistakes live (until she started to sing playback).

hmm. I remember watching a live performance of Avril on tv a few years ago and she wasn't that great. I figured by her third album she'd get better but I guess not.
