The Mujahideen was supported by American and the West was not in the favor of the Afghan people and they resist. @Dahnje I dont particularly think so. Don't you think it was quite naive of people to think that it was all going to happen exactly to plan and no innocents were ever going to get hurt ect ect. These things happen in war and its just a reality that people have to accept, and quite frankly i think its quite irrisponsible to release information thats going to get informants killed and possibly compromise NATO doctrine so i think wikileaks are the ones in the wrong here.

You seem to take their loss of life as less than loss of life. You are supporting acts that make Americans less safe. Do you think that these injustices are angering the people? @Dahnje I didnt say anything of the sort, what i said was that innocent loss of life is an inevitability and is more of a trajedy than a crime unless it was deliberate and that people need to accept that. Its difficult enough for a soldier who shoots an innocent by accident in the heat of battle without coming home to be called a criminal and a murderer because information about the incident was published for little other reason than slander.

It sounds like you want to hide crimes. Crimes are different from accidents. Shooting up public buses filled with people is a crime. You want to give American soldiers to do whatever they want just because they are American. You seem to think that the Americans in this war are the "good guys." First off, if you consider this an unjust war, how can they be the good guys? No one is saying that all Americans are criminals. But some are and their crimes must not be hidden.

The Taliban has already said that they are focusing on the names mentioned in the documents as targets. So Wikileaks has gone beyond there journalistic duty of revealing the truth. They are taking arms with the Taliban!

The only way for you to understand how wrong the U.S. is is to have the Taliban set up a military bases in the U.S. and to bomb local homes and weddings. Again, Masoud warned the U.S that they were coming to attack and was ignored until 9/11. Bill Clinton held back any ground attack even when they were bombing U.S embassies in Africa. So who invaded first? This was the same people the U.S helped to fight the Soviets and that's how they return the favor.

Well, it may or may not justify it but it does offer an explanation. An the U.S. doesn't care about any girls reading all that much to go to war. That is the excuse they give us because it sounds good. There dozens of states begging for U.S. help in Western education. But no, they want to be where they are NOT wanted. Those people do not need any schools or roads built. There are content with their lifestyles. The U.S. is building roads for themselves to transport weapons.

I don't necessarily disagree with the leaking of the papers and videos, President Hamid Karzai didn't seem to disagree either. However, Karzai said that there were many Afghan names released who are helping Americans and that their lives are now in jeopardy. What, the Taliban doesn't use the internet? Come on, these people aren't just great fighters, the educated ones are computer literate and are not only great tacticians, they're extremely political and media savvy.

@blizzard50x Right on. Just like late 1990's when Afghan revolt against the Mujahideen warlords who took over Afghanistan after defeating the Soviets Red Army. The Mujahideen was supported by American and the West was not in the favor of the Afghan people and they resist. The Taliban was formed in reaction towards the Mujahideen atrocities towards their people.

@blizzard50x cont' - The Mujahideen despite of being battle harden, battle proven and well equipped yet they were defeated by the Taliban which starts from a bunch of school students whom battle experience only during school holidays. The Afghans people supported their movement until the Taliban overrun Kabul 1996.
Thus the Afghans did it before and I'm sure they will do it again if they wish to sort their problems themself.

My point being that a proper de-construction of a given news segment (as one small example in the world of "media") requires detachment. It is amazing how easy it is to see the manipulation - on a grand scale - right accross the board, be it FOX (on one side) or MSNBC (on the other), and everything in between. Television was designed for mind control of the masses, and it has been amazingly efficient in controlling and deceiving the poulation, even when the truth is in plain sight.
