Polar Bear Cubs in Big Trouble

The day after we saw these triplets we tried to find them again. From the time we left them at about 6p.m., to 10a.m. the next morning our trackers told us that they had traveled five miles. At that point mom and all three cubs were still together. By that time they were out of our range and we didn't get another chance to photograph them.

i don't fucking get it, if they cared so much about the polar bears, and spent so much time in researching them and tracking them (the mother had something on her neck that seems like a tracking device), then instead of worrying about them not being able to hunt down food, why not just dump a shitload of fish and meat somewhere for them to find?
