What a great time to have been this age! I don't know any of these people, but I am the same age and remember this now long-ago time. It was a real memory trip to see the clothes and hairstyles again. Thanks for this all-too-brief back to the late '60s--great choice on music, too.
i went to stokes in 1988 (6th grade) , and then as a counselor in 1994 (12th grade). Nothing but good memories. This video is very emotional, with the Beatles' 'in my life', The Beach Boys' 'Sloop John B', Jonathan King's 'everyones gone to the moon' and Rolling Stones' 'Ruby Tuesdy'. All songs were released between 1965-1967. Awesome song selection.
Class of '65 here. Lots of familiar faces. I can positively identify Pam K at 1:30 and I think that was her mother at 1:35.
Some of the girls visited our cabin the first day. That was a no no.
Up the path comes Mr. Mulvihill for a surprise inspection. We hid them under mattresses, behind duffle bags, anywhere we could. I'm sure he knew what was going on especially since Debbie's feet were sticking out from under the mattress but for some reason he let us slide.
Thanks for posting! Although I am not a classmate, I spent two great summers--67 and 6--there at a camp (first called Newton School of the Outdoors, and later Steppingstones Env. Outdoor Ed Center) which I believe is briefly shown in the video.
