I saw Ellen play this in Austin, circa 1985. I think it was in conjunction with an amazing meditation-on-the-chakras piece by performance artist Linda Montano. It's cool to hear it again. In person, and over a longer time-span, it's a truly awesome experience.

it's actauly called the long string instrument and i think this video was made in the seventies so you'll be hard pressed to find any more of it.
