  • Wonderful video! Thank you for posting.

  • 93 I love it Frater Oz, such elegant words. Love your channel, please never cease promulgating the word of the law. Maybe one day, some of the many misguided feminists in this world will see and understand for themselves the beauty and freedom given to all by the word of the law. And in that moment find their own path.

  • What powerful words spoken in any century on this planet for man and woman to hear alike. The ying and yang is within each and everyone. The pro and con produces a balance within thee for all people of the earth. The male and female forces reside within each one of us to create inner harmony & true balance.

    =)

  • I always thought that was wild, he doesn't say every person is a star, he says every man and woman is a star, he makes a distinction. It would seem to suggest man + woman = star, as the ascending and descending triangles may make a star in their unity. I think for some reason it is wise to notice he didn't include the child as a star, only man and woman. I am not sure of this, unless man + woman = hexagram and the child = pentagram, but even in that it seems obscure to me. (?)

  • @XXXREDROOMXXX @XXXREDROOMXXX This is because Liber AL is written in archaic English and the modern use of the word ‘person’ is rather recent (recall Shakespeare's ‘and all the men and women merely players’). In archaic English the word ‘man’ can refer to a human being regardless of gender or sex, but I speculate that the word ‘woman’ was added to the sentence to avoid confusion or misperception. ‘Child’ is taken into account in ‘Magick in Theory and Practice’.

Yes, I hadn't thought of that. The triangle within the square, in the other the child is missing, which may be the viewpoint born of the symbol. It may be written as a veil, as the rose line is only a line on the rose, or so it may seem.

  • I agree owith all of this! But there is the danger of sexism against men! That is my only fear as man!!! Sincerely!!!

  • Thank you for all your videos.. There is something about listening to Crowley's work that helps in my understanding of it.. I really appreciate your work.

  • 93!

Your videos are always a great inspiration.

  • This does not change your overall awesomeness.

  • whore meant woman right? lol, that sounds so bad.

  • @psychoticmagician - Perhaps to you it does. But ask yourself this... If the same concepts and Ideas that are associated with that word were applied to a man, would it still seem so bad? The properties that men boast about, have for so long been considered "Bad" for women to have, yet they are inherent in the nature of all human beings. The sex drive is not sinful or shameful. It is an essential part of who we ALL are. It is only fear and shame that make it seem "Bad".

  • @ozzzz156 "Whore" always referred to prostitution rather than general promiscuity though, which had never been considered acceptable for men.

  • Frater Oz, you are awesome.

  • You're too kind... I'm just some dude who can read. 93s

  • You fucking rock dude! I love hearing Crowley through you. Your voice resounds his passion in it's inflection like a flame consuming wood. Burn ever brightly Frater Oz, you put a poem on my heart for the day!

  • :) - Thank you.

  • Thalema sounds pretty great. :)

  • Thank you, Brother! today I asked myself: Is there a way to tell the "true" Thelemites from the impostors? And here you give the perfect answer: a "true" Thelemite knows no sexism and "makes no difference" (Hail Nuit!), seeks to behold the strength in women as in men alike!

    93!

  • 93,

My pleasure! It was very inspiring to read and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • nice reading as a female minerval i never got the impression that women are second to men in thelema, 93

  • Glad to hear it! Usually these viewpoints come from people who have never known what it is really like, so I'm not surprised.
