@MikeS1026 Hi - I carry a Kodak Zi8 for off the cuff stuff. The picture quality is good for $100 or so. I use it for street filming also. The sound is a bit of a trick. I used Any Video Converter to separate the sound and then used a free tool 'Audacity' to amplify the basses. I the added the sound track back to the original vid , but eve so slightly in advance of the original timing, giving a barely perceptible echo. As the outdoors just sucks up the sound, I adjusted it give an 'indoor' feel.
