  • Good lesson!!! :-D

  • hey man thanks!

    grettings!

i´ve sent you a firend request

  • hey man nice cover!

but what software or program do you use for create that videos with separated screen?

because i want to do it but i dont know how.

    greeting from mexico

  • @daftmusician ... hello and thank you! The video software for splitting the screen is Sony Vegas Movie Studio. I use the version that costs ~$100 USD. I also have a video tutorial to show you how to do it.

  • 1:05 .....im using pinch harmonics there and if ya dont no what a pinch harmonic is then GET THE HELL OF MY VID!

  • @rabbidsmurf ... LOL I was a little bit nicer than that :)

  • @PDXguitarfreak haha yeah defenitly :) great video man your a gifted teacher keep makin these great lessons you make it easy to learn great stuff!

  • Have you got any offers from PRS yet?

  • @TheUserme123 - I wish! I have only seen a few guys on YouTube able to secure endorsements. I believe the guitar companies figure they are already getting free advertisements from us, so guys like me will probably never get any free gear. :)

  • I know that you put his a long time ago, but this is my first time to see your videos. Great job, very clear and absolutely wonderful. You are a very good teacher.

Thanks a million. Hope to see more.

  • Ok, This is what I've been looking for. I've been around for a long time, ( I was in my twenties when this came out ). Anyway, while searching for a tutorial on this song , I came across you'res and it's just the way I wanted to learn it . Good tabs, clearly explained, and well played. It's for these reasons I'm subscribing. I've only seen the "No one like you " videos, but hope you have many I can learn from . The only drawback is the focus and amount of light, but that's easily fixed. Thanks.

  • Would you do a lesson for Jackyl: When Will It Rain?

    Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeassssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!????

  • Sweet guitar dude!

I wish I was as good at guitar as you!

Its people like you who keep rock living!!

    Rock on!!

  • ur awesome, btw what guitar is that?

  • man thnx a lot you help me so match keep rocking...

  • very very good!!!

  • you make the best tutorial videos ever, no lie

  • Thank you!

  • @PDXguitarfreak Hey dude. I'm absolutely loving your lessons! Thanks man! You don't know how long I've been trying to learn this son and this just really helped me (Unfortunately I just broke my first string playing the solo LOL). I've been playing for a year and a month now and I'm only 13 and that, but if you wanted, I was wondering if we could do a duet kinda thing? Like you did on some of the other videos? I could just do the rythym parts man.

    Peace,

    Cftb1 (Adam).

  • good job!

  • Thanks!

  • dude this just takes a little effort...dont get me wrong just look at my favs I am a huge Green Day and Holiday fan but Holiday's solo takes no effort at all!

  • perfect lesson! i bet this took ages to make as well lol.

  • yes ! :)

  • I understand - I was thinking compared to other hard rock solos (e.g., Van Halen) it is relatively easy. Compared to solos you might find in pop-punk stuff like Green Day, I agree this solo is more complex.

  • right on!

  • This is just great! Your lessons are even better than the LickLibrary stuff, that I have seen so far. Can you please do a lesson on how to play the rythm parts too? On your other channel you had a video in which you played the parts of both guitars together. That was just awesome. I would really like to play this song the same way, you did it in that video.

  • Hey thanks man. I am not familiar with LickLibrary, but I'm sure they are probably serious lessons (I do this just to spread the fun around). As for the rhythm parts, perhaps someday I might do a lesson. It's really not that hard. My recoommendation is to use the tabs found on ultimate-guitar. com. I might do a lesson on tabs too :)

  • You are great, thanks for sharing

  • Great stuff Dave. Damn glad I found ya. Dude, you should do a vid on equipment.

  • thank you for posting this, you made something thats difficult (for me) seem much easier...great format, keep up the great work!

  • amazin bud... had this tab all along but havin you explain was a massive help man.

    ROCK ON BUD!!!

  • Awesome!!! ha technical difficulties. it actually looks pretty cool in my opinion lol.

    5 stars!

    Rock on!

  • Awesome lesson Dave! Hope you keep doing these! 5*

  • Great lesson Dave!

    5* :)

  • so now youve added the jitters to your arsenal of posing? ya damn showoff haha

  • nice one dave :)

  • Cool lesson Dave!

  • Thanks Tom!

  • What type of pedal do you use?

    Thank you.

  • I list my gear on my main channel page. If you are asking about a distortion pedal, I don't use one - I use the amp's built-in distortion. In terms of effects, this one has a tiny bit of chorus, plus reverb and a slight delay :)

  • Nice lesson dudee I love your tone I cant describe the reason why, but it just sounds right :] I have a marshall jvm 410h coming my way pretty soon, I cannot wait to get out of this soliid state amp.

  • Thanks bro - I'm getting closer to capturing the sound in my head LOL. I think you have a great tone going on, can't wait to hear ya with some tubes!

  • thnx! very helpful.

    5/5

  • You are welcome! :)
