This is a Mexican song written for a Spanish girl from Malaga ( Malagueña Salerosa ). The song talks about a poor man declaring his love to this girl, but he understands if she denies him because he's poor. Is a beautiful song.
Malagueña Salerosa is a traditional Mexican folk song written by Elpidio Ramírez, Roque Ramírez and Pedro Galindo, not to be confused with the older but different Malagueña (Song), the sixth movement of the Suite Andalucia by Ernesto Lecuona. (Wikipeida)
i always watched starky and hutch. i thought the were great, and when david soul came out with this song i was just amazed, i think this song was great, and i think it made it to the top of the charts. he is so talented and i think he should have done another song. with that voice and that beautiful face, i just can't understand why he just faded away, i liked him in magun force, salems lot. i think he did a mini-series for t.v. it seems like the name was the mansons of america
Wow ! good job. wonderful voice. What a treat to hear his voice in spanish as well!

God, I adore this man's voice. His Spanish, of course, is quite excellent, too.
I can't wait what you come up with next in regards to DS, soulpage...! Keep up the magnificent work here on YouTube :D
