  • omg awesome! i was thinking about just buying that huge make up brush roll from mac thats like $80! but nvm! this'll do :] thanks

  • Cute! This would make a good gift for any of my theatre friends who have large stage makeup collections. And I have some scrap fabric left over from a recent project... Hmm. Thanks!

  • great! I'll do it for my brushes =)

  • ah thank you! i've been needing a tutorial for this. currently all my brushes are scattered in a drawer. i put my make up in empty tissue boxes and i don't have another one to use for brushes. this will really help organize things!

  • great idea i wish i was that creative. i enjoy watching tho

  • Awh this is a great idea! Thanks :D

  • your brushes are rolled up so cosily... keep them warm during winter ;)

  • aw~~~~~~~~ kAWaaaaaaaaiii ^^

    thnx

  • thank you sooo much! :) i am about to order some make u brushes but i dont have enough money to buy a case, but now i can make one!

  • This brush roll is such a pretty idea and you make it look so easy! ^___^

However I would add a piece of fabric at the top side of the roll, so I can flap it over the brushes (hope this explanation is not too confusing XD), because otherwise I'd be afraid, that the brushes fall out of the roll

Maybe you could make a few brush rolls more and sell them in your shop. I'm sure they would sell very well ^____^ at least I would buy one!

    Have a nice day,

    KanonsBass

  • Very cool! If I owned more then 2 makeup brushes then I would make one.

  • thats soo clever!!!!! THANKS!!!1

  • love it<3

  • So cute! <3

  • great!!!!!

  • totally awesome. keep the vid's coming, thanks!

  • that's really cute! i love it! :)

  • LOVE IT!

  • what kind of sewing machine do you recommend for a beginner

  • I know you're not asking me, but I just started sewing about 6 months ago and I was unsure about whether I would keep sewing through the years, so I didn't want to fork out a bunch of money. I found a great working 1970's Singer machine at the Salvation Army for $20. My mom saw it and told me it's better than hers. The older machines are much more solid, but also heavier. I've fallen in love though, and I don't think I even want a new machine now!

  • they are more solid and they run much smoother as well. My mom bought an old one for like $15 at good will and it's some japanese brand...the SMOOTHEST running machine I have ever met!

  • Yeah, my mom's is a Brother from the 80's and her's makes a clackety plastic noise when it runs. Mine makes more of a solid thud. It occasionally skips stitches, than I have to adjust the bobbin tension, and all runs smoothly again. I wouldn't trade it for a new one. In fact, a friend of mine offered me a brand new one and I gave it to my mom...haha

  • you are very lucky to find vintage singer!! they are amazing and its definitely true that they do not make sewing machines like they use too. great find!

  • I feel EXTREMELY lucky. I love my machine. There is actually a posting on my blog for it. I loved it so much I had to share it with my viewers! I was driving my mom insane asking her for advice on what machine to get. I was scouring craig's list and looking at Walmart. I called the local SA on a whim, and they had one. I researched the model and thought it would be perfect. It's described by many as the Singer workhorse. I'm very happy with it!

  • but its not 100% that i will find one at the thrift stores, right? what if i have an older singer but its broken is it easy to get it fixed somewhere and is it cheap?

  • Depends on where you are. In my area, there is only one repair shop, and they charge quite a bit for a tune up. It may still be cheaper than buying a brand new plastic machine though...just keep a look out. Call your local thrift stores. There's almost always one laying around. Also ask them if you can test it before you buy. My mom came with me to test mine, (she's the expert) and gave me the OK. Almost bought one on Craig's list, but when I tried it, it wouldn't even turn on and it was new.

  • @babycakess888 i recommend a singer or brother i makin a makeup bag but imma make it detailed and specific i actually made a pencil case its pretty sooo this is for my fashion class i have instructions for a makeup bag i can send them to u ?

  • thank you for this your awesome
