Help! When I click on the view tab I have no drop down boxes. Therefore I do not have a tools section. Any idea how I can get that to appear? I have looked to see if I can expand the toolbar but I don't see an option to do that.
SOLUTION: Keep EmbedMovie set at False in the Properties window. Don't know why I had the bad luck to watch this version of this Tutorial first. All the others advise leaving EmbedMovie at False. I wasted a few hours chasing down this wrong track. Maybe save some other hapless fool from making the same mistake!!!!!!
PROBLEM: Works great and played the video, but I could not repeat after saving the PowerPoint. PowerPoint suggested I save as a "macro-enabled" presentation and I did this. But after closing and reopening, no video in sight -just a blank box. F5 did not help. Right clicking in the blank box to get Properties, had the movie URL name and embed selected, but no video. Saving as a regular (not macro-embedded) did not help either.
@SophieInHerOwnWorld. another possibility, which i would prefer is download the video using perhaps real media's software or something similar. then, you can convert it and edit it as well with software like adobe premiere. the advantage here is that you have "stand alone" video that does not need a web connection to play. sure it ads size to the presentation but chances are, you will only need a small clip from a video that runs longer.
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
