i was always wondering when i played sor3 why the sound effects suck sooooooo much compared to sor2. now i see my european version suck. ur like beating a guy up, but it sounds like ur petting him. why they cut stuff? this some gay german censoring or what?

overall sor2 the better game, really missed max's backbreaker in sor3. also music wise so2>sor3. level 2, 7 (elevator part) and 8 music of so2 is da bomb

I like Streets of Rage: Remake better. The music in SOR3 is mostly MIA, and what there is can't hold a candle to the original!

There is no way he sounds more bad ass in SOR3. His move is called the 'Grand Upper' so changing his move name to the name of the game is just stupid. He shouts 'Grand Upper' while he just says 'Bare Knuckle'. And Yellow and Black are Adam's colours, not Axel's. Sega of America butchered the correct version just like they butchered the correct version of English.

I love all three Streets of Rage games, 2 and 3 the most....

2 has brighter graphics, a better soundtrack, and an atmosphere that's easy to get used to.

3 has better controls, a stronger challenge, more special moves and characters, and a darker feel to it.

Actually I like him when he says Bare Knukle in the American Version. It's kinda of a show of respect to the Japanse Version. Like how in 2 the arcade machines said Bare Knuckle on the side.

It's cool man, I didn't like 3 either. But DEFINITELY check out the SOR remake by bombergames! It's a free download! I got it set up with my Ps3 and 360 controllers. It's TIGHT as shizzzz. They redid the music and everything.

Streets of Rage 3 had the best looking graphics. I mean damn, just look at axel. I love the game, but I hate the US version with the heroes stupid colors. I also hate the Japan release for having Ash in it so I just play the US version with the special color patch.
