thanks have been trying to work out how to do this although it makes my hands so tired! And my hair is really layered so it doesn't always stay.

You could try using a bit of wax or something else sticky to help the layers stay where you want em. I have the same problem and its a pain in the... arm :P even using a little gel might help :)
