Anyway, all versions have their own advantage. Amiga versions have no shading due to an unexpanded Amiga1200 having a slow CPU. and no intro to cut the cost from using more DD floppies. But sound and music definitely adds to the atmosphere of the game. Game makers should have made the games so that they could utilize more powerful hardware better. IE: Turn on day night shading on a 030 CPU.
@nfoo Not just the music, the sounds in the game were much higher quality as well. The CD32 had an exceptional audio chip, I miss that console real bad.
the amiga version was far better than all other version's, the game has much more polish. and those mods (ingame music) are so cool... this game was one of the best game's ever released for any platform, but really shines on the amiga (tho not the a500 version lol)
Hey, thank you very very much for the add! I played UFO on the CD32 but the geoscape music is different to all other version of UFO - Enemy Unknown. I'm desperately searching for the music, could you make a 10 min vid of just the geoscape and it's music??? please... you would make me very happy!
Quite a nice intro actually. Never saw this.

@nfoo
The CD32 had EXACTLY the same audio hardware as the Amiga 1000 released in 1985. The chip was never changed.

I think the DOS/PSX versions of the intro are far better than Amiga... though the fonts in geoscope look a lot better.

I think I like the Playstation version of the intro better, because the X-Com armor isn't blue in this version :P
