  • spoiler ahead SPOILER AHEAD!!!ALERT!

  • oh, wow, that's nice !

  • Holy crap, this is actual 16:9 and NOT stretched 4:3! :O

  • Lookss like the 3DS one now.

  • Right now i'm playing OoT in HD Widescreen on my 42'' tv with a ps2 controller.

    Pretty fucking sweet.

  • it;s not "spread out" or 4:3 stretched. When you emulate the game in a computer it can render at 16:9 and actually show more info than the original game.

  • its actually not stretched out, the game is technically running in 16x9 mode, but it was not designed to do that. If you guys notice the sandstorm filter in the Gerudo Desert, it only occupies the 4x3 section of the screen if you running it in 16x9 mode.

  • @ferrybeer Reversed sound?

  • @linkmenx Then, how do you get to be that way? I think you are using JABO Direct3D8 1.6, not 1.7.0.55.

  • good memories

  • @ferrybeer - they can't be bothered spending the money to do it.

  • They wanted to keep OoT the same, yet they censored the Fire Temple music and the star/crescent symbol. This is why I refuse to play it on the VC.

  • @MJacksonLive Do those two details make the game unplayable?

  • this is widescreen because look at circles like the moon and the action buttons, if they are oval then this is simply stretched, otherwise it's all good :)

  • Hmm... There seams to be a graphical Glitch with Death Mountain, other then that it looks awesome. Why couldn't Nintendo do something like this to old N64 games on the Virtual Console? this proves it's Possible, AND Looks good...

  • 3:53 EPIC

  • con que has grabado este video? (fraps, hipercam...)

With that you have recorded this video? (fraps, hipercam ...)

  • FRAPS... me gusta mas... xD

  • si realmente es mejor el fraps, pero que tienes en tu maquina?

    Core 2 Duo 2.67 ghz

    Tarjeta de Video HD2600XT

    Saludos....

  • aaaa con razon no se traba

    gracias

  • Me in Project 64 1.7 i use the textures and 16:9 with no problem and looks great...

  • How is that possible? I have 1.7 and widescreen, but as far as I can tell there's no way to use the textures... Please tell me?

  • i can't remember... :P i'm gonna instal again PJ64 1.7 and i send you a personal mesage

  • I look forward to it.

  • time to bust out the game

  • But that isn't widescreen, it's just the 4:3 image spread out

  • @WarningSDE

I know it was a long time ago, but could you explain to me what you mean by "it's spread out"?

  • it would be nice if they could change the blurry Pre-rendered backgrounds

  • It is possible, check on emutalk site to see how can it be implemented...

  • thanks for the tip

  • No problem ;)

  • Zelda OoT + Hi-Res textures + Widescreen = A truely awsome game! But how can you get widescreen like that working?

  • Go to Graphics plugin settings and disable "Hide Advanced settings", then go to advanced settings and click "adjust game aspect ratio to match yours"

  • In Rice's plugin? I didn't see an option like that.

  • Oh I'm not using Rice's plugin

  • Yeah, Rice's plugin is the one that has the hi-res textures function in it, but Jabo's plugin has the widescreen function.

  • so then it is impossible for high res textures + Widescreen?

  • At least at this point.

  • I think Glide64 have wide and hires

  • 2:05

    4:30

0_0!! Look at the far right side of the screen! While the other static sceneries are merely stretched in widescreen (in the market they just show more), you can actually see the Potion Shop from here! WOW, this is just amazing! Here's something of OoT, which I know through and through, that I've never seen! Just...WOW!!

  • Vatos locos homes

  • If I recall, you don't have to charge up your sword to hit it back..

    That looked pretty tough :x

  • code/rom?

  • it's a feature in the unreleased version of project 64 (1.7)

  • "it's a feature in the unreleased version of project 64 (1.7)"

I think that he meant for the areas usually not visible. Pj1.7 stretches it by default.

  • Now it takes up the entire player if you put &fmt=18 at the end of the url. Pretty cool.

  • Sexay.

  • That is hardcore!
