  • Durr - "Like I must have just been at a weird light angle"

  • LOL Ivey scared the #!%$ out of him haha

  • miss HSP with Gabe Kaplan :(

  • all the ivey lovers neglect to point out that all -in on the flop is the only play here as it has so much actual and fold equity - especially if he considers as he obviously does after the river that dwan has total air

  • In the Behind The Scenes footage, it was shown that Tom Dwan shat his pants multiple times during this hand.

  • @sinio7 you are clueless.

  • im not a genius and i dont judge huge phil ivey but when u call 3times with nothing why u fold on that river? i mean that six doesnt change nothing but also iveys hand gets better so if he called all these times thinkin dwan has nothing folding this river is wrong...its just my opinion

  • @sinio7 sure buddy

  • @sinio7 He wasnt calling thinking dwan had nothing, he was calling in hope he hit a diamond or a Jack on the turn or river...

  • "I can't beat nothin'...(looks at Dwan's hand)...except for that."

  • durrr is shook

  • Tom Dwan= donk cunt

  • if this was pokerstars, the blank would have been a jack

  • faster mofo

  • I like the comment at 9:28: "Or maybe there is something wrong with his eyes. Maybe he didn't see what he had". Gabe Kaplan is the best commentator on poker. Ik like his comments, he is so funny!

  • Dwan is a donk with cash Phil I would re-raise him after every flop

  • @jayjasonbird Dwan is a donk ? shit you must be Stu himself.

  • damn im watching this for the like 50th time and i always hope ivey calls. that wouldve been the most legendary hand ever if he called. FUCK that makes me so sick lol

  • @Philboy50 yeah man... i wonder what ivey had to say about this hand

  • dwan looks worse ....hahahahahaha

  • It was a legendary play by Tom and a good fold by Ivey.

If he would of call and tom shows him a 10 or even a pair of 7's people would of talk so much sh*T to him.

  • @EncorexH2 dwan in not betting the flop with 10, not on that board, unless he had a set of ten, and hes not reraising preflop with 7s, against 4 other players, he never does that. so those two hands are out of the equation. it was a stone cold bluff and ivey knew it.

  • @EncorexH2 exactly, you know what you are talking about.

  • Phil Ivey makes Tom Dwan fear and cry...Wouldn't you cry, if you just bluffed Phil Ivey in a 680 k pot? And those who were thinking, that Ivey is going to call, well, good luck to you.

  • amazing how everyone gives phil ivey credit for thinking about making a call (which he doesn't even make), while no one really appreciates tom dwan's 45k+125k+ 268k monster bluffs thoughout the hand.

  • Comment removed

  • 268K on the river are you kidding me stone cold bluff. amazing.

  • wow tom dwan is a monster.

  • goddammit i want to see someone call to dwan's when he's bluffing

  • @jasontangy I Think someone will think twice before calling a 268 200 dollars bet with Ace high !

  • @kalorication just in general, i want to see dwan lose a bluff for once

  • @kalorication he had a pair of sixes ;)

  • 8:33 best comment ever :))

  • tom dwans a homo

  • if eli didnt distract him, i think phil ivey would have called.

  • Awesome to see the best two poker players in the world square off.

  • Looked like a river bluff....why would he bet that much on the river if he had a big hand? Looked like a bulff the whole way really.

  • @Bigbriansc It's easy to say ofcourse but not worth it with 6 pair.

  • @Bigbriansc His bet was 65% of the pot on the river. Hardly a big bet considering the size of the pot

  • @Bigbriansc The problem is that Dwan could easily have flopped middle or bottom pair, thought he was behind maybe, but figured he could shove Ivey off of the hand by the river and thus fired 3 times...how sick would Ivey feel if Dwan had like 10 9 or J10 or just decided to fire 3 times with pocket 7's or 8's...and by the river what 2 card combo could Dwan have 3 bet with preflop that didnt make at least 1 pair? Very hard to be like oh, its something like 8 9 and my 6 is good here, I call.

  • @Bigbriansc

tom dwan is the type of guy who would make this huge riverbet with the nuts and/or a stone cold bluff like here...

  • Why do people say Phil Ivey has an aggressive style? I thought that meant players like Tom Dwan and Gus Hansen.

  • Pretty good bluff even considering that Tom Dwan can see his opponents hands..

  • @baitscene what u mean?

  • @Gunix23 I mean ya got a nice cack on ya kid keep up the good work.

  • Something about the lights my ass.

  • This is the most epic best hand of all time just because of the giant stakes they are playing.

  • I think it was EASIER for Dwan to make this move because Ivey merely preflop. He is almost never doing that with JJ-AA. It's more likely he has a low pp, a hand similar to dwans, or an Ace rag (like he has). Now, he didn't know how well Ivey was drawing on the flop, but his play is very understandable nontheless.

  • @zackryan01 oh yea so easy to push in over 200K with a 9 high hand very easy :P

  • tom dwan is a calling station

  • 'Can't expect Phil Laak to be quiet for ever' hahahahaha...funny shit!

  • The big problem is that from Phil's perspective, even some of Dwan's bluffs on that river could still beat him (i.e. 77, 88, 99, TJ if he was trying to push Ivey off a Q).

  • I wonder if Daniel actually knew what Ivey had?!?!

    ....i think soooo.....

  • @errberdurb No he absolutely didn't, he asked Phil after the hand if he had J-10 at 9:25, Ivey said no. Daniel can really make himself look like a jackass sometimes on HSP.

  • If daniel didn't disturb, Ivey would have called.

  • @aptand lol.

  • Ivey's like "I knew it..."

  • Comment removed

  • "total wildcard madness game with durr"

  • it would of been worst call of all time. That woudl of been a tilt call not a good call.

  • @fliptthescript im pretty sure the worst call of all time would involve a person making a call and losing money...not winning it

  • If I was Dwan I'd probably go into cardiac arrest

  • acutally dwan made ivey fear and cry...

  • at 9:23 ivey know he got bluffed

  • @bhanukaura he was responding to daniel who tried to guess his hand

  • THATS HOW YOU GET INTO IVEY'S HEAD

  • NO YOU DONT DANIEL

  • Wow, Dwan sure has some heart. Fires 3 bets into Phil Ivey , on a stone cold bluff, out of position

  • U don't see clips with DURRRR making monster laydowns just

  • @cheapshankybot he never needs to he just makes other people fold

  • @cheapshankybot or just gets lucky

  • @cheapshankybot you do in the premeire legue

  • best hand ever

  • Wow... That was quite exciting...

  • what do you guys think ivey would've done if an ace rivered, assuming durrr bet the same amount?

  • @ggnub100 call

  • dwan looks worse

  • lol.. I would crapped my pants if Phil Ivey says ALL IN..

  • @lilcrazyaznboy It was actually revealed in the behind the scenes material that Tom Dwan shat his pants twice during this hand.

  • What's that guy asking Ivey exactly at 9:22 that you can barely hear that Ivey says no to? I can't make it out.

I'm hearing, "did you water anything on the flop" , "no" But I know that can't be right hahaa...

  • @mattownsu1 It is at this moment when he realizes he was bluffed and he can't believe it. He says "No..." to himself.

  • @mattownsu1 "sounds like did you have anything on the flop?"

  • And Ivey realises at 9:23 when his head suddenly moves to the right. When he says "no" he knows then that he got seriously bumped

  • it's not like Tom Dwan to give up :))

  • titel had 2 be.. tom dwan outplays phil ivey

  • Gotta love crazy but very skilled Tom Dwan!

  • at 1.55 durrrr tells eli STAY OUT BRILLIANT ivey would hav called even with worse hand

  • at 1.55 durrrr tells eli STAY OUT

  • at 1.11 something very subtle occurs.durrrr looks over at iveys stack and thats why ivey got involved. durrrr is brilliant

  • "This is gonna be the sickest call of all time".

    I wish Ivey made it

  • After bluffing ivey out of a half a million dollar pot, all dwan does is whine about the lights that was shining into his little precious eyes as he takes down the pot. Wow. That's just plain obnoxious.

  • @cheeleonard you're a tool

  • @brainlesswonder Lol another dwan fanboy. xD oh well........

  • @brainlesswonder Lol another dwan fanboy. xD oh well........ sorry if i hurt your feelings. =)

  • @cheeleonard He was trying to cover the fact that he was nervous, terribly done of course. He and Ivey play each other alot, he wouldnt say that just to get on his nerves.

  • wow. respect for Dwan

  • true, one of the best hands ever, but also one of the worst titles

  • listen the last lines.....one of the outstanding player of HIGH STAKES POKER......

  • sry for my english i hope u understands what im sayin i dont know correct grammar greetings for all and gl at the tables :D

  • IMO Ivey just took so long cause he s want to pick up some tells from dwan but mostly he wants to save his face to all table but reallity was that he cant beat nothing there only bluff not even semi bluff with jack and some pair if he has here KJ or AK than maybe he would cal whichl will be great but the way dwan played there no way if i would be in his place i would think he has some high cards or even set so only tell from dwan could save his ass he has sent a tell but with 6s impo to call

  • if ivey called den tomdawn an idiot but instead ivey folded which made tom durr a bluffer that got lucky for now..

  • wow bets $46K on the turn and $250K+ on the river.... you sir have balls of steeel

  • Phil Ivey avoided the greatest Call of all Time...sick..

  • considering the board, hole cards and the player he bluffed.....this is the greatest move i have ever seen

and may i add that Phil thinking in his heart to call saying he may be good is unbelievable

  • @Dkouts57 if ivey makes a call... i think that he is GOD :))

  • considering the board, hole cards and the player he bluffed.....this is the greatest move i have ever seen

  • Dwan did a great job playing the board out of position here, 3-barreling Ivey. We all know Ivey is so good he was ready to call the riv bet with bottom pair. But wait, Dwan bets every street at Ivey. Does Dwan know Ivey doesn't have much of a hand?

Yes. Why? The turn and riv are bricks. It's all about the flop. Flop is way too dangerous for Ivey to just call with a big hand on the flop/turn unless he has AJ diamonds. Ivey cannot have a big hand here - but Durrrr can cause he leads all the way

  • I've seen this hand many times, and I never understood why phil ivey didn't raise the flop.. I'm not saying that's the right move though, I just don't understand why he didn't do it

  • @ezox00 You're right. Ivey could have raised the flop but Dwan might have hit a set or have AA in his hand given his preflop reraise in the big blind after super-tight Phil Laak raised under the gun. Even if Dwan has JJ he can go all in and be in pretty good shape against anything but AQ diamonds. So if Dwan has AA, KK, QQ, JJ, or TT, Ivey could be in bad shape if he raises and then Dwan shoves. To me it comes down to this - Ivey could reraise flop if Phil Laak didn't raise utg preflop.

  • @ezox00 Because Dwan just happens to be at the bottom of his range here. A good percentage of the time Dwan will have flopped a pretty big hand on this board imo.

  • lol wut all 4 players on flush draws at the start

  • "JUST ONE BLUE CHIP" :)

  • i think if eli didn't complain ivey would've taken a little longer and might have called.

  • @dh144498 Eli didn't complain about Ivey taking too long. He was dozing off until the other players started laughing..but you might be right. That event may have thrown Ivey off his read. But to call there would have been unreal.

  • @dh144498 eli didn't compain. he fell asleep and the others noticed.

  • ivey donk

  • @passaparola1980 i wanna see you call 400 grand with bottom pair LOL!!!!

  • that would have been the greatest call of all time

  • i wouldn't give up 400k .

  • lol... durrr is the fucking best!!!! i'll play him one day when I build a bankroll just so I can lose it to him... lmao

  • wow, if he had call this, this would be the greatest call of all time, its so sick that he even think about it. two of the best, really

  • I can watch this hand 1ooo TIMES

  • Where did Guy Lilaberte get all his money?

  • @alexnzxVersion2 cirque du soleil, he owns it.

  • dwans eyes are crazy haha

  • I have to say that Dwan is a poker genius. I love the fact that he is completely willing to fire at a pot at any given time. His philosophy is that if you don't bet the river with a losing hand you can't win. No way Ivey can make the call. He is amazing, but who wants to bet 450,000 on one of the lowest pairs. I think that they are both amazing and would love to be able to play one time with them (and lose).

  • @nathan12420 You play with them and Ill play with jamie gold, joe luckbox cada or guy laliberte!

  • I have to say that Dwan is a poker genius. I love the fact that he is completely willing to fire at a pot at any given time. • U think Daniel read Ivey's hand there, it would be interesting to hear at that moment what he thought Ivey had. I bet he was close.

  • Damn Dwans wrist look very strange :X i thought it was broken for a moment there

  • just imagine if a diamond came on the river. Ivey who considered calling is a testament to his greatness

  • The truth is after pre and post flop action dwan put himself into situation when he coudnt check that river. But the one who really deserves tones of credit is Phil. Even for thinkin about callin there. Six didnt really change anything there and he woud probably think exact amount of time to call dwan on river if any other blank hits. But it is beautyfull that we can watch two absolute great minds workin out the table situation.Unlucky flop for Ivey also, he woud call if flop woud be KT8 not KQT

  • he should use sunglasses next time. the unibomber is cool you can never tell what he fears.

  • Wow that was a whole lot of pants-shitting

  • tom had a little trickle of piss that came out.. ivey is poker god should of made that call..

  • i wish phil called

  • yeah tom doesnt make more than 400k in a year but hes on high stakes poker with an 800k chip stack

  • durr the best!! no one can do what he does!! i nevr c this guy lose! i truely belive he is the best cash game player ever!! ok maybe him and ivey are tied

  • Dwan is better then Ivey. THERE I said it. Far Far better. If he gave a shit about Tourneys he ruin them aswell. Dwan doesn't care about status, or legend. He just cares about money

  • @ColourboyMarkyboy Yeah, I'm sure that Dwan enters tournies just for the pleasure of being knocked out. You do realize that the likes of Galfond are more successful cash game players than Dwan, right?

  • @dereksbooks Statisticly that's wrong. Which is what you are basing a comment like that on surely. Dwan is up well on Galfond this year alone aswell as all time. Galfond is exposed at top end cash ring games....

  • @ColourboyMarkyboy OMGClayAiken in the last 365 days: 2,198,534. Durr: 347,039.

  • @dereksbooks

durrrr is up 4 mil this year on online poker.. who knows how much on sick live private games

  • @bolinho0987, No, he isn't. He lost $5m to Isidur1 and is only up $347K in the last 365 days. Check the facts.

  • @dereksbooks Actually he is, update your facts. Besides in the last couple of days he is up about 7mil from huge cash game in Macao

  • @ColourboyMarkyboy Yeah, I'm sure that Dwan enters tournies just for the pleasure of being knocked out. You do realize that the likes of Galfond are more successful cash game players than Dwan, right? Dwan is an outstanding player, but Ivey is clearly superior in most situations.

  • @dereksbooks we'll agree to disagree. Dwan can make 600k in a few hours online cash. He genuinely seems uninterested by tournies. Every time he's interviewed he talks about Bracelet bets because that's all that keeps his interest.

  • @ColourboyMarkyboy , based on pokerlistings, Dwan hasn't even made $600K in a year: $347,039.

  • i really wished ivey made that call just to see the look on dwans face and break his heart dwan would have felt like ivey stole his sole if he made that call aw i wanted to see it so bad

  • damn... thumbs up if you love when phily ivey shakes his head and says "no" for some reason i love that bit

  • that was close

  • Yeah, Dwan cried ... with TEARS OF JOY!

  • This title is funny, people dont get this is a joke?!

  • hahahaha poor tom dwan call his mom he needs her lol

  • Best hand ive seen in a while. Outstanding triple barrel sir.

  • thisis what i doint get about high stakes - weve also seenhands like this where ivey bluffs dwan - and ponline where they snap call with the pair of sixes etc... so how do they ever win\1

  • why is the title not phil ivey gets out played :-S

  • @weemark18 cause he never expected Ivey to consider to call. He thought he could outbluf him and when it took so long he really started to freak out.

  • Durrr is sick man wowwwwwwwwwwww

  • Tom Dwan is my favourite poker player. Could you bet 270k with nothing? He is really unbelievable.

  • durrrrrrrrrrrrr'd

  • Ridicoulesly good play from both, cant blame Ivey for foldiing... If dwan had like missed flush and pair of Q, he'd look lika an idiot:P

  • its funny how phil ivey is the one crying.

  • I can never understand Dwan's style and how it could be profitable, yet it seems to work for him quite well. I can only assume he's playing a meta-game strategy and concerned more about winning stacks than individual hands.

  • @stinky472 You make a really good point about there about the meta game and winning stacks as opposed to winning individual pots. He balances his value bets and bluffs perfectly and when he raises pre-flop you can really have no idea whether he has AA or 86 off. The net result being he gets tight players to fold the best hand and loose players to pay him off with the worst hand.

  • funny how the title says he makes tom fear and cry and how some of you say he crapped his pants. but he just bet a couple hundred grand with nothing and got away with it. doesnt look like crying to me
