Yes we (Clemson) got spanked, but unfortunatly we have gotten used to that lately. But I enjoyed watching Nebraska and I have much more respect for the Big XII now
dude nice video and finally a Clemson fan who doesn't talk trash about the game...it was an awesome match up and both teams played great. the real game winner was in the end when the corneerback got in davis's face 2 times in a row one for a sack
Great game, nice video, but I say there was a high pressure weather system over the stadium because there were no reports of "Thunder & Lightning" anywhere near the stadium (Spiller and Davis rushed for -4 yards).
Towards the end the big high schools band there was more than 7 lol, i was in it, there was 2,000 of us 1,700 band members from across the country and 300 dancers. i have to say playing in the gator bowl half time show was the best ever!!
but it was the best game ever even though clemson lost :(
I was at the was there and was actually in one of the bands in the huge high school show. i dont really want to correct the person who said that there was 7 bands, but there were 13 and 2000 kids on the field at once.
It really wasn't Harper's fault its the lines fault for not blocking Suh he dominated you guys but the Power of Red and i was there Clemson's D was good when needed, like when Nebraska could've got 2 touchdowns in the 10 yard line but settled for field goals...lolol
Yeah, I wanted Clemson to win. I wanted at least one SC team to do good. As far as the Gator Bowl goes, I went last year to see WV vs GT. It was fun, but personally I think Jacksonville sucks. It's dirty, and all the restaraunts were disgusting. All well, glad you had fun!
I was there, sat on the clemson side, but it was 104 which was dominated by red, man Nebraska actually won the attendance battle like 60-40 which is awesome because we travel 1500 miles as opposed to 450 from Clemson. Gooooo Bigggg Reddddd.....GO BIG RED. WOAH. Good game tigers, but turns out big 12 does play D.
I was there and it was about 60-40 Nebraska fans: the fans were mostly put on opposite sides of the field, but the upper deck on the Husker side was nearly full, and the upper deck on the Clemson side was about 2/3 full.
Overall it was a great crowd from both sides, and a great game.
but, it was a good game. i was there also..sad ride home haha
during the second quarter i was like..uh oh this may get ugly, but Big Red's defense really stepped up, I have to give them that, and so did the offense.
I have to say though, if it weren't for Cullen Harper making bad decisions almost all game long Braska would have been blown out. If only.
but i hear Dabo was in the house talking to the best quarterback coming out of highschool this year yesterday talking to their parents and him about coming to clemson!
and since we are losing kelly and ford we got like the 2nd best reciever coming out of missouri to clemson! :)
and as for recieving core, i think we're stable there, I doubt Jacoby leaves this year, and we still have Brandon Clear and Xavier Dye two excellent revievers
I just hope we hire that defensive guy out of Tennessee, we need someone tough like him. Becuase you saw what having a lenient coach did to the players during th Gator bowl, the D lost the game for us
The D was he major factor, to me. Cullen would have done much better if he had some blocking up front, but obviously he wasn't getting that. Taking a sack in a crucial point in the game, is pretty crazy, he should have had all the time in the world to try to throw a game winner on that play. Brad Scott wasn't doing his job in that game, and Dabo wasn't doing to well at keeping his players playing throught the game like he has been the last couple of games.
I've watched it twice. Clemson's defense had a couple lapses, but played great (that's why NU had so many field goals--the defense came up big). Nebraska had a couple lapses on defense but otherwise played great.
Look at the two Nebraska TDs: they were great throws and catches by Ganz and Petersen and Swift--big players stepping up. Spiller made big plays, and could actually win the Heisman.
I thought the final score reflected the level of play.
nice, it was a great bowl game. Go Big Red

actually, the attendance record showed there was bout 35,000 clemson fans and 30,000 nebraska fans, which is still amazing on nebraska's side!

yeah i sure am glad we are getting rid of him this year!
getcrunkfilms 3 years ago
i can't believe how bad he was this entire year really
i mean he played well the last bit of the season.
Willie Korn is really going to have to become the Korn we believed him to be if we expect to do anything next season.
xXbannanapuddingXx 3 years ago
i know! seriously!
i hope korn can step up!
but i hear Dabo was in the house talking to the best quarterback coming out of highschool this year yesterday talking to their parents and him about coming to clemson!

ACC CHAMPS 09! ;)
getcrunkfilms 3 years ago
did you hear about Dabo in the press conference?
Where he pointed to Spiller and told everyone "There's the 2009 hiesman trophy winner"
I thought that was so cool haha
I hope he is, he's worked hard to get where he is now, and I would hate to see it basically go to waste like James's talent did.

the D just helped lose the game, they were playing good at the beginning! i think harper was the major loser of the game! haha i hate him.... haha :/

I thought the Clemson defense played great. The offense was mostly shut out the whole game (all 21 points came off of Nebraska turnovers).

watch the 3rd quarter over again and tell me they did great. They lost the game for the Tigers
