hmm. i'm 15 and have been diagnosed with severe crohn's for 4 years now. i'm going for my third endoscopy/colonoscopy today. it sucks, but, hopefully they'll find a permanet cure for crohns & ulcerative colitis one day...=(
@Emorose6 awwww that's so sad. be strong. i've had the surgery for it now i feel great. had UC for 10 years but im glad i had the surgery done. wish i had it done earlier.
i have this crohn's disease for 18 years in and out of hospitals and they finaly saying it gonna kill me because i never went for the colostomy bag when i was small, so life really fucked up with this
@neopeogreo But, it's still not the perfect cure. Even people who've had a total colectomy have loose bm's. I think that the researcher's should look into stem cells for a real cure.
Very interesting. I have been unofficially diagnosed with diverticulitis. I drink a gallon of water a day, just turned 40 and have been constipated TWICE in my life. Also, NEVER have had any type of problem even remotely close to this.
That looked bad. I have colitis too. It really sucks. Im constantly in the bath room. Im suprised I havn't grown weak from all the blood I have passed. I have had this for 2 years. I just recently had my 2nd colonoscopy, and the doctor said it wasn't as bad as he thought. Still it aint fun. It hurts to eat, sit, and not to deliver TMI, but its hard to feel sexually aroused in the stages Im at. I need to start really hammering down my fiber supplements, to get this under control.
yes it is a a serious disease that is somewhat lofelong, but you can contro it with medication so you don´t get flare ups, there are certain things that one should never eat, i really recommend you see a doctor because it could turn very serious if you do not seek medical hel, i´ve just been diagnose i take my meds and watch what I eat so I should seay that you can live a normal lifestyle
I also have colitis and have had a tumor in the colon. I may also have my bowel removed as i have never had remission and i have arthritis in all the joints including the spine.
well i've had the condition for 7 years and its always been up and down. i may go for surgery this year as im sick of the meds and the disruption the flare-ups cause.
