You saw people who were pulled from the audience with unprovable illnesses that they'd indicated on prayer or info. cards. You saw people who were in on the act pretending to be audience members. Faith healing has been debunked time and again.

It's all fake. Numerous faith healing schemes have been exposed. That's why James Randi hasn't had to pay out anything for his $1 million dollar challenge-nobody's been able to prove any of it is real.

@ChipArgyle Doctors have no clue what was wrong with my girlfriends stomach and she's had stomach pains for a year and a half now. They've done every test to figure out what was wrong but couldnt find out anything. I met Todd White a few days ago and brought my GF along with me, Todd prayed over her stomach and her pain went away instantly. Are you telling me I saw nothing more than a staged act? Name a doctor or scientist who has confirmed a faith healing - who has confirmed there was a preexisting medical condition and then confirmed it no longer existed after a faith healing occurred. You can't, because it hasn't happened.
@ChipArgyle I have a friend who had a retina detachment and Got healed. Has the papers. Mother couldnt believe it. Doctors couldnt believe it. I had a leg shorter than the other went to a doctor said i had mild scoliosis.

Its not that he doesn't believe it, its because its illegal to tell somebody to go to church to go get healed. @ChipArgyle Im not saying that every single minister is genuine so dont write off the whole movement because of a few bad apples. There are genuine ministers that dont proclaim to have a 100% success rate on healing but they believe that God wants everyone to be healed. and its not just redding Go anywhere in the world theres people getting healed.

@ChipArgyle There are literally thousands getting healed. Whole villages in africa coming to Jesus because people they have known there whole lives that were blind now can see(heidi baker). I dont see every single person getting healed, but i know its possible. Jesus commands us to go out and heal the sick. You can say what you want but there are no reasons for many of us to lie. I dont make any money off of what i testify and what i say but ive seen these things for myself.

Its not the same as it was in the 50s or 70s. were teaching to not look unto one person for a miracle. so there are lots of people who make no money that are walking out what Jesus told us to do. Similar to what todd white is doing in the vid.
@kevinlovesjesus There are also plenty of magicians who recreate the frauds that Todd uses in his videos as well. The difference is they do it honestly, as entertainment. Not coincidentally, they also have been known to turn water into wine onstage.
If you think that any believer can lay hands on people, say a prayer to a dead person that some say may not have existed, and heal people of diseases that medical science can't cure, you need to see a doctor yourself.
@ChipArgyle Hm Maybe its because i have friends who was blind and now can see. Friends who had 4th stage cancer and now they dont. Had seen a person with a broken thumb in my school healed and he testified to the people around him. Do I or my friend with cancer make money off of this nope. @SmokyStormy1 That's an amazing experience. And it's all what is known as anecdotal evidence. It can't be recreated. It can't be observed by anyone else. It can't be tested in any way. It can't be falsified or verified.
That kind of evidence wouldn't stand up in a court of law. If you were to testify to that in court, you'd likely be forced to have a psychiatric evaluation.

This is proof that healing is real? We're supposed to just look at this video and say "I'm now convinced" We're not supposed to look for the medical history of the guy who was "healed." We're not supposed to ask about the placebo effect. We're not supposed to check if he still felt good later. We're not supposed to check if these two guys know each other.
@Smithpolly just have faith. People are raised from the dead everyday. I've heard of plenty of scientific medically confirmed healings of cancer, and all sorts of things you name it. In one ministry I think it's something like 100 people raised from the dead in the past 10 years. A lot of the people were dead for more than a day and were raised. In Bethel California they see healings daily. Is says in the Bible lay your hands on the sick and they WILL recover. It's simple. God heals. =)

Another story, baby examined in the womb who had a physical disability, the stomach then got prayed for at church, the mother went back, they scanned the baby, and the baby had no trace of any disability in it.
Man was medically verified as dead for 3 days, and then was raised from the dead! yea

Medically proven HIV healed by God in healing prayer. No denying this. Also this woman was pregnant, the doctor said she'd never give birth naturally or be able to breastfeed, she gave birth naturally, and she's still breastfeeding to this day...

@Meemaddy I have told you that I saw a woman that had been cut in half brought back from the dead. I got the impression from your answer that you don't believe me. And yet , for some reason, you are prepared to believe lots of unusual stories without any proof whatsoever. You believe Youtube videos and Facebook messages without question. If you would send a sick person to these "healers" based on that kind of "evidence", that is cruel.
@Smithpolly I don't know how to keep on telling you, but there is countless scientific proof of all the miracles I believe in. I can't say it plainer, hundreds of miracles I believe in have been verified scientifically. What do you want me to do? Send you the medical documents to satisfy your unbelief? @Meemaddy Might I suggest that if Leroy Jenkins is a fake, then the video above could also be a fake and therefore should not be put forward as proof that healings are real unless you have further information such as medical records etc.
@Smithpolly well the guy in the video seems to believe he got healed. Sure we can never know other than having faith because we are not that guy who got healed and we didnt follow up on him. But I know a lot of healings that take place like this have been medically confirmed by records, so I think, why not eh =D

healing is not fake. It's easy to call something you don't understand or have never witnessed first hand fake. I understand that. God has healed me, my family members and friends of many things that amazed the docs! I am a believer, and I know He loves you with out a doubt. Seek Him, if you don't believe me... He will show Himself real to you if you really want to know in your heart. Often we have to start by believing in faith, but then, He provides what you need to "know that you know"
this is so dumb... why would god cause this pain in the first place if he is just gonna take it away? if god is loving and powerful, why do people die horribly? does he not care about them? if so, why doesn't he use his powers to save them? God is a big bystander.

@sbtg728 You're not considering much Scripture to make that claim, some of which Lamentations addresses well. God is good and while pain that He causes is either redemptive or retributive, He does indeed cause pain. Not only is Scripture clear about this, but the natural pattern of inflicting pain as consequences for evil is given also. Stick to subjects where you're better informed and spend more time in His Word. After all, you have John 8:31-32 that give you a clear and great promise.

Yeah, that makes sense. According to one book, He chose to show up during the Bronze Age when the world was full of superstitious fools who knew nothing about anything. According to another, he hasn't shown up yet. If you hold up the Bible as truth, you miss the truths of the Qur'an, the Torah, the Egyptian Book of the Dead, the Greek gods, the Norse gods, and the gods that every other tribe that ever existed made up to explain nature. You saw people who were pulled from the audience with unprovable illnesses that they'd indicated on prayer or info. cards. You saw people who were in on the act pretending to be audience members. Faith healing has been debunked time and again.

@ChipArgyle Doctors have no clue what was wrong with my girlfriends stomach and she's had stomach pains for a year and a half now. They've done every test to figure out what was wrong but couldnt find out anything. I met Todd White a few days ago and brought my GF along with me, Todd prayed over her stomach and her pain went away instantly. Are you telling me I saw nothing more than a staged act? Name a doctor or scientist who has confirmed a faith healing - who has confirmed there was a preexisting medical condition and then confirmed it no longer existed after a faith healing occurred. You can't, because it hasn't happened.

I believe that God wants everyone to accept christ but because of the church its not happening. I parallel that with healing also. @ChipArgyle ough doctors. like i said before repeatedly i havent seen everyone healed but the thing about your theory is 1 healing will debunk what you believe. you see i was healed and i actually went to a doctor also to get it checked up. Im sure there is many factors to why healing isnt 100% but still God is Good. I think just like Jesus we stop disease and cancer. We calm the storms. we speak out against floods. We stop what the devil is doing. ^_^ but the church hasnt matured to that yet

@ChipArgyle Im not saying that every single minister is genuine so dont write off the whole movement because of a few bad apples. There are genuine ministers that dont proclaim to have a 100% success rate on healing but they believe that God wants everyone to be healed. and its not just redding Go anywhere in the world theres people getting healed.

@ChipArgyle There are literally thousands getting healed. Whole villages in africa coming to Jesus because people they have known there whole lives that were blind now can see(heidi baker). I dont see every single person getting healed, but i know its possible. Jesus commands us to go out and heal the sick. You can say what you want but there are no reasons for many of us to lie. I dont make any money off of what i testify and what i say but ive seen these things for myself.

I'm sure you could convert entire villages with a few good card tricks. Not a convincing argument. Take the road show to the western world somewhere to gain credibility.
Still, if healing was really happening without question, it would be all over the news, all the time, especially on the Internet. It isn't.

Its not the same as it was in the 50s or 70s. were teaching to not look unto one person for a miracle. so there are lots of people who make no money that are walking out what Jesus told us to do. If you think that any believer can lay hands on people, say a prayer to a dead person that some say may not have existed, and heal people of diseases that medical science can't cure, you need to see a doctor yourself.

Had seen a person with a broken thumb in my school healed and he testified to the people around him. Do I or my friend with cancer make money off of this nope. That kind of evidence wouldn't stand up in a court of law. If you were to testify to that in court, you'd likely be forced to have a psychiatric evaluation.

@Smithpolly just have faith. People are raised from the dead everyday. I've heard of plenty of scientific medically confirmed healings of cancer, and all sorts of things you name it. In one ministry I think it's something like 100 people raised from the dead in the past 10 years. A lot of the people were dead for more than a day and were raised. In Bethel California they see healings daily. Is says in the Bible lay your hands on the sick and they WILL recover. It's simple. God heals. =)

Another story, baby examined in the womb who had a physical disability, the stomach then got prayed for at church, the mother went back, they scanned the baby, and the baby had no trace of any disability in it.
Man was medically verified as dead for 3 days, and then was raised from the dead! yea

Medically proven HIV healed by God in healing prayer. No denying this. Also this woman was pregnant, the doctor said she'd never give birth naturally or be able to breastfeed, she gave birth naturally, and she's still breastfeeding to this day...

healing is not fake. It's easy to call something you don't understand or have never witnessed first hand fake. I understand that. God has healed me, my family members and friends of many things that amazed the docs! I am a believer, and I know He loves you with out a doubt. Seek Him, if you don't believe me... He will show Himself real to you if you really want to know in your heart. Often we have to start by believing in faith, but then, He provides what you need to "know that you know"

this is so dumb... why would god cause this pain in the first place if he is just gonna take it away? if god is loving and powerful, why do people die horribly? does he not care about them? if so, why doesn't he use his powers to save them? God is a big bystander.

@youkeylaylee God doesnt cause pain. If you trip and fall its because you trip and fall. Not because God put a invisible curb in front of you. But as seen here he will take it away if you just believe. all the bad stuff that happens in the world is because of what WE DO. Is God the one shooting people in afghanistan....or is its us humans. Is God the one who got drunk and killed kids in a crash? No we do that. We're not robots...he gives us free will. But he's always there if you just seek him

@sbtg728 but what about natural disasters? thousands of people die in japan because of tsunami/earthquakes. japan is a hotspot for those type of things. so is that our fault too? or does god just not like japanese people? why is it that in canada there are less natural disasters than in america? are canadians more believers? he gives us free will but not our world. we can die easily in a world that is not meant for us. no matter how much we believe, "god" won't interfere with our pain :(

@sbtg728 You're not considering much Scripture to make that claim, some of which Lamentations addresses well. God is good and while pain that He causes is either redemptive or retributive, He does indeed cause pain. Not only is Scripture clear about this, but the natural pattern of inflicting pain as consequences for evil is given also. Stick to subjects where you're better informed and spend more time in His Word. After all, you have John 8:31-32 that give you a clear and great promise.

@sbtg728 You have a serious reading comprehension problem. The solution is to pay attention when you read. You didn't pay attention to what I said and you didn't pay attention when you read the Word of God.
If you won't listen, there's not a great deal that I can do for you. If you choose to arrogantly believe what you want to believe regardless of what you read, then you have some serious disappointments ahead of you.

@sbtg728 I suggested that you stick to subjects where you're better informed. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Your knowledge of God's Word in the area of pain is fine in the most simplistic way but entirely insufficient for teaching others. I wasn't overly harsh with you but your response was curt, rude and without an attempt to understand or listen. Did you read Lam.? That's not arrogance? You jumped to a wrong conclusion and falsely spoke of me that I'd said you weren't a believer.

@sbtg728 Instead of thanking me for correcting you and keeping you from falsely representing the Word of God, you let your pride loose. I ask again, have you read Lamentations? Have you prayed about what I said? Have you asked God to show you the truth of His Word on this subject? Or are you angry because you don't like being corrected? Search the Bible with all the forms of "corrected" and "fool" and see if you learn anything.
My original remark wasn't unreasonable. Your response was pride.

@sbtg728 Because that's NOT the way the Bible says to handle it. If you knew the Bible better, you'd know that, but if you knew the Bible better, you wouldn't still be showing how self-willed, stubborn, stiff-necked and hard-hearted you are. Age and trials will help to humble you. It's too bad you can't simply take appropriate correction. There are an abundant amount of Scriptures that are applicable here but do I think you'll look for them? Unfortunately, no.

"The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that you may have life, and that more abundantly" Jn 10:10 God does not control everything. He gave the earth to mankind and mankind gave it over to satan. God cannot break his own word or promises. He wants to help us and loves us be we have to open the door and let him in. He is patient with us and never forces anything on us that we refuse to receive.

@taekwondaddy It's not "this guy's abilities" and if you knew the Word of God, you'd know that. This guy is simply a BELIEVER who BELIEVES God's promises FOR OTHERS.
This isn't hard to understand but it does take the SAME FAITH that he has IN THE SAME GOD AND THE SAME BIBLE.
He goes into the streets by faith because that's where he started and it's working for him. I understand why he doesn't go to the hospitals but explaining that to you would be a chore. You're far from the things of God.

@taekwondaddy Im a christian but i agree w u...why not go the childrens hospitals..leave the camera!..GOD sooner or later would do a miracle that cant be DENIED,HE was really touching people..Benny Hinn has made millions of of the sick...he knows the brain rids pain at times when expecting to be healed..but it retuens..people have DIED because they stopped taking their meds...its sick!

@Goodlife51 You're a Christian but you're full of unbelief and you'll stay that way until you SHUT OFF THE UNBELIEF that you allow to fill your eyes, ears and thoughts and fill yourself instead with the Word of God.
You're not listening to God on this but you've given the devil a free path to talk to you. You will not "get it' until you repent and decide you'll believe the Bible and THEN pay attention to ONLY IT.
Unbelief is normal. It takes saturating yourself with God's Word TO CHANGE.

@911dispatcher Actually i KNOW that GOD can heal...i also know that man STILL LIES..and yes some even LIE and FAKE miracles to "win" souls...Christ says be "Wise as serpents.." so dont say i need to repent for being careful..I study the WORD daily...I love CHRIIST....i dont know a faith healer who is real,do u?..not Todd,Benny.Popoff,Leroy Jenkins all fake..the bible is full of warnings about those who pose as men of GOD..why wouldnt someone w this gift go to the hospitals?

Jer48:10 Men of God don't fake miracles to win souls, but frauds and charlatans would. You don't know God well enough to tell a man of God from a charlatan, so I recommend highly that you keep your opinions to yourself that you might spare yourself God's judgment.
Or don't and suffer the consequences.

@911dispatcher We have complete permission in scripture to make sure that the one sent is from GOD..the Bereans were commended for making sure the Word that went forth lined up w scripture..and since Benny Hinn and Todd Bentley Peter Popoff etc have made a living fooling people im gonna make SURE that this guy is NOT doing the same!....some of the people that the LORD will say DEPART from ME did "Healings" too..GOD bless
